Silent Hill 2 isn't the only Konami game getting a remake, as the seminal Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will also be given a lift for a modern audience in the form of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Originally revealed during the 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Delta: Snake Eater is bringing Big Boss' origin to current-gen consoles, complete with the original voice cast, as well as the original's gameplay elements.
That said, despite the number of details revealed to this point, along with the game's Collector's Edition, which also went up for preorder and immediately sold out, no release date has been provided.
Fortunately, that looks to be changing, and relatively soon, too. According to a new hands-on report via the official PlayStation Blog, a release date will be "revealed later this year." However, that's not the only bit of intel from the report to glean information from.
