Activision and Treyarch have stealthily edited a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer calling card to remove a reference from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The changes, which were first spotted by Call of Duty fan site CharlieIntel, and then later shared by other content creators, removed a picture of former United States president George W. Bush, as well as what seemingly was an airplane about to crash into a building, from a multiplayer calling card named "Make History."
Following the change, the calling card now simply depicts a hand that is writing on a cassette tape. The calling card still retains its "Make History" name. To this point, Activision has not commented on the change, or why the card was allowed to exist in the first place.
