After weeks of discontent from the Helldivers 2 player base, which included another review bombing and pleas from the community, Arrowhead is making good on its promise. The studio has confirmed that it is buffing dozens of weapons and stratagems in its latest update.
If you find yourself 200 feet in the air in Helldivers 2, stay out of the way of Eagle-1.
Among the weapons getting a buff is the much-maligned Flamethrower and the game's underwhelming anti-tank weapons.
In its patch notes, Arrowhead confirmed that Helldivers 2 would undergo a "major overhaul of anti-tank, armor penetration, health, and armor values," and that it would also be balancing weapons and stratagems and reworking enemies. The changes range from weapon to weapon but typically include an increase in damage, a rate of fire increase, decreased recoil, or increased magazine sizes.
