Metaphor ReFantazio's director has confirmed that the game will be as long as Persona 5, meaning players can expect close to 100 hours on their first playthrough.
Even though Persona 5 is generally regarded as one of the best and most influential RPGs of the past decade, there are a few elements of it that are a little divisive. Persona 5 is notorious for how much of a commitment it is just to see the main story through, with How Long To Beat listing the average completion time as an eye-watering 97 hours.
