Metaphor ReFantazio's director has confirmed that the game will be as long as Persona 5, meaning players can expect close to 100 hours on their first playthrough.
Even though Persona 5 is generally regarded as one of the best and most influential RPGs of the past decade, there are a few elements of it that are a little divisive. I could talk about how weird it is for a high school student to romance adults or rage about how poorly everyone treats Ryuji, but there's one that stands above the rest - how bloody long it takes to finish.

Persona 5 is notorious for how much of a commitment it is just to see the main story through, with How Long To Beat listing the average completion time as an eye-watering 97 hours.
