Until Dawn's remaster has dropped to "Mixed" reviews on Steam, with negative reviews criticising the PSN requirements, different soundtrack, and poor optimisation.

Although Until Dawn is far and away the most popular game in Supermassive's choice-based library, it's one that many were surprised to see get a re-release. That trepidation towards an "unnecessary" remaster doesn't seem to have faded much now the game is actually out, as many fans have pointed out that it's surprisingly worse in a few key areas.

$60 is totally fair for the improvements we're getting.

Since the game launched yesterday, Until Dawn fans have been criticising the remaster for looking worse than the original in a number of ways, as well as pointing out missing features, things that have been negatively changed, and a whole lot of other things. This negative reception has perhaps unsurprisingly spread to the game's Steam page, which isn't looking so hot right now.
