Palworld Developer Interview Discusses Early Success And Future Endeavors

When launched into early access, Palworld, the creature collecting “Pokémon with guns,” earned massive recognition for the team at Pocketpair. Sadly, with Nintendo’s looming lawsuit, despite their tremendous success, it hasn’t been an amazing time for the developers.

After hearing about Nintendo’s lawsuit against them, Pocketpair quickly responded with a statement indicating their plans to fight. Even though this case could take years to resolve, legal advice suggests it largely favors Pocketpair.

Despite that, Palworld is still kicking strong with new updates and additions, such as the recent launch on PlayStation 5, boosting the recognition of Palworld to further audiences.

So, in a recent interview at Tokyo Game Show 2024 with our friends at TheGamer.com, the team at Pocketpair discussed what’s been up with Palworld, from the free-to-play allegations to the future content for Palworld and any other upcoming projects.
