Technical Troubles Plague Black Ops 6 on Launch Day

Gamers were excited to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 until launching issues plagued its debut. PC users reported their newly downloaded game crashed or required multiple restarts before failing. Meanwhile, Black Ops hopefuls said they were stuck in a restart loop with the beta version. 

This news was unwelcome to the millions of Black Ops fans awaiting the release date. The game saw a 60% increase in sales on the PlayStation and Steam stores compared to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III from last year. While the issues appeared on its October 25th release date, the bugs have existed for nearly two months. 

Gamers played the beta version of Black Ops 6 in late August and early September, reporting numerous technical difficulties and oddities. For instance, some users — even professional gamers — received temporary ban notifications despite not cheating. This problem was prevalent in past Call of Duty titles and remained in this 2024 edition.
