Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, like the rest of the series, includes a lot of secrets, subtext, and pop-culture references. However, a certain secret has only been revealed recently, 20 years after the game's launch. The character of the Russian spy, Eva was credited to someone called Suzetta Miñet, which fans theorised was a pseudonym.

The secret is finally out thanks to the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series, which is a documentary on the iconic series, featuring David Hayter. The third episode of the series confirmed the theories of many fans, that Suzetta Miñet was actually a pseudonym for none other than Jodi Benson, the original voice actor of Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
So the question stands, why did Jodi Benson not use her real name for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater? In the episode the documentary, Hayter asked Benson the question which fans have been wanting to know the answer to for decades. Her answer actually made a lot of sense if you consider what else she's famous for.
