You'd be forgiven for thinking Monster Hunter Wilds had already been released, or is at least about to be released, based on the amount of publicity the next game in the series has received over the past few weeks. Its launch is actually still almost four months away, yet Capcom has decided right now is the best time to release official Monster Hunter shampoo and conditioner.
In Capcom's defense, I've never heard of haircare products officially affiliated with a video game series before. Perhaps releasing the line now is best for business as the Monster Hunter-branded bottles will be sitting in people's showers for the next few months, keeping Wilds at the forefront of our minds as we wait for its release since we'll be looking at, and maybe even using them, every single day. Don't burn through it too quickly though as it's unclear if this is a limited edition product or one that's here to stay.
The title represents Capcom's continued push to bring the series to mobile devices.
