If you are new to this sort of thing, it's a good introduction but be prepared for a tough experience.

A wonderful experience only marred by its brevity.

There's little to recommend. The presentation is wonderful, but it is let down by everything else.

Far Cry Primal is far from perfect but thanks to its historical setting it is a breath of fresh air for the franchise.

Like the red fella front and centre, Unravel lacks personality and ultimately feels, well, a bit woolly.

A solid entry but it's getting a bit tiresome now.

The Banner Saga can be unforgiving at times but it is worth all the effort.

If you're looking for a quick game to blast away five minutes you could do a lot worse than Shooting Stars!

An almost perfect sequel, only spoiled by some frustrating bugs.

While better on PC, the PS4 release brings this remarkable game to a new crowd.

What it does it does well there's plenty of replay value however the issues with crashes are a concern.

Not quite the diamond in the rough, India is at times sumptuous but often shallow in almost every other way.

Give it the chance it needs and your gaming year will be made.
