If you like being drowned in nostalgia in a very well done rendition of one of your favorite childhood games which doesn't ruin the experience, yea, this is the Resident Evil for you.

8 / 10.0 - Alphadia Genesis

Simple, classic JPG style, fairly generic, developing characters, and with solid non-gamepad controls.

I often find that replaying certaing games from my childhood such as Super Mario Bros., DuckTales, Mega Man and The Legend of Zelda, don't just provide me with a fantastic feeling of nostalgia, but also remind me of my roots. They help me keep perspective of where I started as a gamer, and retain the appreciation for those games. Last year, Nintendo took that amazing classic library I fell in love with as a kid, and turned it into a gauntlet of challenges they called NES Remix. Then last month, Nintendo compiled the best games from both NES Remix 1 and 2, and made it into a portable package on the 3DS with Ultimate NES Remix, providing bite sized challenges through a collection of classic games that might make you look at them just a bit different than before.

The Mystery of Mooil Rig is fun, but a bit pointless. There's nothing truly compelling about it that would make non-expansion pass owners envious.  As one of two story-based expansions, I don't know why Insomniac Games felt the need to explore this rather than offering us insight into the world after you completed the main campaign.

The Dark Below is a great reminder of what Destiny could be, but isn't. Its best content is the raid, the gunplay is smooth and playing with friends is a great time. Unfortunately, Bungie doesn't seem to have any clue how to give players a sense of progress without giving them hundreds of hours of grinding and then releasing better gear.

Though I'm sure the boobs will come, the interesting characters and nail-biting situations that Telltale puts you in, in just the first episode alone, is a nice setup to the cruel series you are about to experience. It's not going to be easy for House Forrester -- as evidenced by the events of the first episode -- but I look forward to seeing how things unfold in the remaining five.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a wonderful puzzle game accessible to all ages and skill levels. It's vibrant, cute and features great puzzle mechanics that ramp up nicely in difficulty and have enough variety.

While still having room to grow, PES 2015 is an overall much-improved product. Now when people ask which game -- FIFA or PES -- we'll finally have to stop and think.

7 / 10.0 - WWE 2K15

Current wrestling fans might be disappointed with WWE 2K15, but for dirty casuals just looking to get back into the ring, it's enough to keep you occupied.

Something for everyone. Hardcore purists can spend days perfecting their scores in Evolved mode, while new players will certainly like the allure of a single player campaign that teaches them how to play the game

7.5 / 10.0 - This War of Mine
Nov 22, 2014

This War of Mine is an eye-opening experience that offers a refreshing, albeit bleak take on war. It's so easy to glorify war these days that you forget about those who are really impacted by it -- This War of Mine is a much-needed reminder of that.

9.5 / 10.0 - Valkyria Chronicles

Now with Steam-PC availability and with low requirements, this classic turn-based tactical role-playing game easily still holds up with the best of them. Save Gallia for the first time or all over again in a nostalgic fantasy.

Whether you are fully on board the 'Persona 3 and Persona 4 for life train' or waiting patiently for this era to end with eyes set on Persona 5 (see video), Persona Q should not be ignored by the Persona fan. While this Atlus title isn't a fighting or dancing game like other Persona or future Persona titles, it returns to RPG elements.  With that said though, this game plays and feels much more like an Etrian Odyssey game than previous games in the Persona franchise. To call Persona Q an Etrian Odyssey game reskinned with Persona characters is completely inaccurate though; this game is more of a unique offspring of the two.

A huge world with tons to do and tough decisions to make. Inquisition will take you away from your job, wife, kids and responsibilities, and it's totally worth it.

The stages might be hit or miss, but Nintendo proves once again that pitting its various mascots and characters against each other is still the best way to spend your way around a crowded TV.

9.5 / 10.0 - Far Cry 4

Keeping everything that made Far Cry 3 so fun, but also adding a few new elements to shake things up a bit, Far Cry 4 is a fantastic successor.

On surface level, Defenders of Time looks like a very generic, bland tower defense game. But after soaking quite a few hours of playtime into it, it's apparent there's much more depth than the game initially lets on.
