All up it'll take you roughly 6-10 hours (11 if you are me) to finish the game. It is a sobering experience to play through but does not weigh too heavily which it certainly could have considering the subject matter. There are moments of humour and action in its own very unique and special way. This title was a delight to play and to experience a very uniquely told story. I do recommend it.
The Switch version of Civilization VI is an impressively similar experience to the PC version, for better and for worse.
Even with the new levels of accessibility and staff assisted help, Football Manager 2019 is not for the faint of heart. It's not going to convince non-football fans finally hop aboard. Similarly it's probably not going to lure fans of the flashy action that FIFA provides over to its hard-core data analysis. But for football buffs and management wannabes there is simply no equal to Football Manager. Nothing else has the depth, nothing else summons the feelings, nothing else feels quite as true to life. Improvements have been made and it is still the biggest, most detailed football simulation out there. You will lose months of your life over it, cursing to yourself over trivial things such as substituting your left back too early. It is a beautiful game for the beautiful game.
For button mashing and smashing fun, Chimparty is sure to please and even better yet nice and cheap to buy. Both kids and adults are going to be super pleased at just how much they will enjoy this series of mini games. Give it a shot for yourself. A short and sweet review for a great little game. Worth the purchase.
For every cool idea in Sonic Forces, there is a half-hearted execution, and while that may give me warm memories of my childhood, it doesn't make for something I could whole heartedly recommend.
Creed: Rise to Glory offers up a decent enough experience for players wanting to step into the shoes of a professional boxer, but the gossamer thin narrative, imprecise controls and tracking issues all work against the game reaching its true potential.
A relaxing jaunt back into the classic world of 3D platformers.
Moonlighter is a fun, unique mashup of 2D dungeon crawler meets small business simulator.
Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch is yet another fantastic way to enjoy what is possibly of the best and most rewarding experiences in gaming
Although far from what many of us probably expected when it was first announced that From were making a PSVR game, the willingness by Miyazaki and his team to subvert fan expectations and develop a diverse and varied body of work is to be commended.
My Hero One's Justice leaves room for improvement, but gives us a decent foundation to expand the world of My Hero Academia for future games.
Soul Calibur VI is a beautifully produced game that should keep fans coming back for more and newer fans understanding just what the fuss is about. I know I certainly do now. This is one amazing game that should turn the heads of all that play it.
A linear game with pseudo interaction reminiscent of Return to Zork.
Dakar 18 for the hardcore racing fans that are up for a challenge, rather than someone trying to have some casual fun as the the gameplay is almost impossible to master due to the inconsistent vehicle handling
Call of Cthulhu is a beautifully twisted cosmic horror that has it's issues here and there
Delivers a heavy dose of truth through beautiful narrative.
Arguably the best version of an already fantastic game.
A strong expansion and free update with two amazing game modes and four fun new heroes.
Wow… Red Dead Redemption 2 lives up to everything and more with what Rockstar Games have promised.
I'm more than a tad conflicted with Treyarch's offering this year; on the one hand, Blackout is a fantastic addition that has injected some much-needed innovation into the Call of Duty formula, but I can't help but lament the absence of a dedicated campaign.
