Degrees of Separation is a challenging 2D puzzle-platformer with a unique core gameplay premise.
Overall it’s quite a bit of fun and the lure to unlock the next item or character is there… but it also ends up being very repetitive very quickly.
I wanted to like this so badly and was truly excited for it. I hate to say this but it is a waste of your time and money. Give this one a miss.
A game that might have had retro appeal, had it been a game released about 10 or 20 years ago. As a modern release it seems far too dated to compete with similar titles.
A nice little title to spend some time with
A beautiful, hand-crafted action-adventure experience with challenging combat, rewarding exploration and an intriguing story.
Apart from some minor repetitive issues throughout the game, including endgame content of which I haven’t managed to explore it all, it seems that Ubisoft has learned a number of important lessons from the first game
Yoshi's Crafted World is a terrifically simple platformer with a gorgeous art style and a focus on exploration over challenging gameplay
Not the game I was expecting but a neat game regardless
A beautiful game marred by repetition yet incredibly playable.
Still, if you are a fan of puzzlers and want something different, Ape Out is a terrific diversion. While you may only play it for a few weeks (it's not a very long game), you're going to have a blast doing it.
Beat Cop is a game that still works and it works well!
I generally try to give every game, the benefit of the doubt, firmly believing that not every game, is going to be for everyone, others may thrive on this sort of hardcore difficulty, I do not.
DoA 6 offers fast and frantic fighting gameplay wrapped up in its signature sex appeal to deliver a solid entry in the series - but it lacks single-player and online content to match its contemporaries in the genre and truly shine.
If you enjoyed the Kings Quest games and similar titles, you will enjoy Trüberbrook. Hands down, this is a surprising slam dunk. It's a great story, with twists, humour, problem solving, adventure and mystery. There is also a choice you make at the end, which I suspect provides two endings, so it's likely to warrant a second play through for this, but you would want to wait a bit between, to appreciate it again.
If badass characters dishing out stylish beatings on demonic baddies are your thing, then Devil May Cry is for you. So dive into hell with me and together lets earn some sweet ranks while we finesse some demons back into the underworld.
Final Fantasy IX is a fantastic game with an average port. The price is steep for a 20 year old game with no major upgrades. But once you start playing you won't be able to put it down.
Although it may be enjoyable for the dedicated rally fan, the current lack of content may not be enough to keep the casual racer playing for more than several hours.
Anthem offers a solid multiplayer PvE action-shooter experience and exo suit power fantasy dampened by fundamental design problems and loot system inconsistencies.
Civilization VI: Gathering Storm is a great expansion that adds a number of interesting new world-affecting gameplay mechanics.
