Save Room is a straightforward, compact, and delightfully satisfying game that will make anyone who played Resident Evil 4 especially happy. Given the price and bite-sized nature of the title, there’s no one I wouldn’t recommend Save Room to, as it’s a delightfully compact experience all around.
Metroid Prime Remastered is the best of the best. It improves every aspect of the original Gamecube game while offering different control schemes, accessibility options, and features for fans to take advantage of. Whether or not you’ve played Metroid Prime before, this is the absolute best way to experience (or re-experience) one of Nintendo’s best.
Dead Space is a phenomenal way to relive the original, or a great starting point for those new to the series.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is both an incredible game and a brilliant remake. Everything great about the original game is present and often expanded upon while its weaker parts have been smoothed out and improved. Once you get used to its slower pace, you’re in for a riveting and spooky thrill ride that you won’t be able to put down.
While it doesn’t have too much new to offer compared to the original, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is as much a masterpiece now as it was when it first launched ten years ago. The passage of time makes some games lose their luster, but Ghost Trick shines as brightly as ever. Its story, humor, and puzzles still stand strong, and it was a delight to revisit this game.
Look, I’m a kid of the 90’s so this is a hard game to truly review without some level of taint. It looks, plays and sounds like a refinement of games of the Mega Drive. An elevation to a new level, a classic of a system it’s not even for. It’s a strange experience to explain, but an experience I don’t think you or I should explain. Instead, simply play Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider. You’ll thank me.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is possibly one of the greatest RPGs ever made. It’s a game you dream about when you’re not playing. It makes the possibilities feel endless, like your character’s story matters above all else. And in Baldur’s Gate 3 it does.
If you have any love for RPGs or are even maybe even looking to get into them, please check out Sea Of Stars, it really feels like a labor of love that delivers on everything it sets out to do.
Alan Wake 2 is an incredibly rich narrative driven experience with such impressive visuals and performance that truly feels like a next-generation experience.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a thrilling and compact continuation of the neverending and endlessly exhilarating adventures of Kazuma Kiryu. There’s plenty of content to make you feel fulfilled alongside the expectedly explosive story. This is a delightful little Like a Dragon experience that will tide you over until the next main entry.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is what all sequels should aspire to be. The gameplay is improved upon all-around, the story is riveting from start to finish, and the breadth of side content is second-to-none. It may be early, but I feel confident in saying that one of 2024’s game of the year frontrunners has debuted not even a month in.
Persona 3 Reload is already another contender for game of the year. It’s an almost perfect remake of an already exceptional game, and I wanted to play it nearly every moment that I wasn’t. Whether or not you’ve played Persona 3 before, Reload deserves your attention, as it’s one of the most fun, styling, and enthralling RPGs around.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a remarkable sequel and one of the best RPGs of the generation. This new installment both respects and expands upon the original game’s story and legacy in a way that will please old-school fans while sowing some intriguing new narrative seeds for the final installment in this trilogy. I can’t wait to get my hands on whatever comes next – even if it takes another four years.
I have been waiting, and craving a game like Axiom Verge and it delivers in almost every way.
The Ultimate Evil Edition is the best version of Diablo III that I have played. Even if you have already played a lot of the game on PC, there is a lot of new content mixed in with the engaging Diablo III systems.
Screencheat only has a thin veil of content, containing only the multiplayer modes, a quick time trials mode, and some unlockable ragdoll's, but for $15 you're getting an extremely witty and lighthearted party game.
Blending fantastic strategy RPG and business simulator gameplay with an incomparably meta sense of humor, Chroma Squad overcomes its overlong stages with mighty morphin’ colors.
Zenzizenzic is a must-buy for any fans of the twin-stick shooter genre.
Despite some needless changes to Homeworld 1's mechanics, this is still a fantastic remastered collection by Gearbox that shouldn't be missed by newcomers to the series or fans who have been itching to replay the series.
Final Fantasy XV is game full of beauty, weight, and most of all, fantastic characters.
