Back 4 Blood shines when playing with others and has enough systems, spooks, and FPS fun to make players want to come back for more
Whether you're pushing the mainline story forward or pursuing side missions, Far Cry 6 provides a cornucopia of fun and engaging activities, wrapped in the series' best gameplay and most beautiful setting
Intense combat and a series of challenging boss fights require a high level of play, but the thrill of victory is incredibly sweet
Well worth revisiting over a decade later to see how your theories hold up. This is a great game to discuss with friends – a book-club experience for gamers
There are highlights in this game's visuals and storytelling, though these get bogged down by basic mechanics and uninteresting moment-to-moment gameplay
More enjoyable and captivating than a first glance suggests, this arcade-style racer is fast and fun
There aren't many notable changes in FIFA 22. My Career is still the most dynamic mode, and that's not saying much
Diablo II: Resurrected is a mastercraft remaster that reminds us how the original game changed the gaming landscape forever
If you've never played Death Stranding, I think you should. Whether it's the original release or the new Director's Cut, the game is worth experiencing. Not to say it's perfect by any means (read Game Informer's review for a second opinion). But there's nothing like Death Stranding. And there may never be again; I struggle to think Sony or any other publisher will ever let Kojima be this free a second time – at least not with this kind of budget. Eastward crafts a cozy journey through fascinating and bizarre realms, featuring a memorable cast. While lackluster combat and a few repetitive puzzle styles tarnish the experience, it's still a ride well worth taking
Deathloop is a rare game I started replaying as soon as the credits finished rolling. Now deep in a second playthrough, I'm still discovering new secrets and ways to play

There's a lot to do in Tales of Arise – set up camp, hook some fish, help townsfolk with missions of varying importance, etc. The main plot is incredible, but the secondary stories you uncover are far more memorable
As always, WarioWare's randomness is charming, and the minigames are fun, but this is far from a high watermark for the series
It won't challenge your platforming skills, and the action boils down to galactic Simon Says, but The Artful Escape is a gorgeous experience that makes you feel utterly cool
