Bear and Breakfast is a cozy management simulator that has you playing as a cute bear running a B&B, but that’s about it. It seems almost like the developers learned nothing from the reception of the PC and Switch port of the game a year ago, which suffered from the same issues. I really wanted to like this game, given the delightful visuals and charming characters, but the lack of polish and unintuitive controls on the PlayStation 5 make it a hard game to recommend.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is a middling survival crafting experience set in J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy world of Middle Earth. The lore, voice acting, and the characters are probably the only interesting ideas this game brings to the table, as the rest of the gameplay loop of mining, building, crafting, and surviving isn’t anything that propels the genre forward.

The Chain Saw Massacre has a lot of potential but the limited licensing, the budget, and content release schedule all severely hamper the potential of the game itself. Compared to a game where you can play as almost every horror icon you can think of, it is very hard to hold your head above water.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered falls short of the high standards set by its predecessors. While the faithful restoration attempts to capture the essence of the original, the lack of significant visual improvements leaves fans questioning whether this remaster was truly necessary. If you’re a die-hard Turok enthusiast seeking a trip down memory lane, the remaster might offer some enjoyment. Still, for those expecting a transformative modernization of a classic, Turok 3 Remastered is a missed opportunity, and you should just bring out and dust off the old Nintendo 64.

Gangs of Sherwood not only pays homage to the legend of Robin Hood but also sets a new standard for narrative-driven gameplay, strategic depth, and immersive world-building. With its captivating visuals, engaging gameplay mechanics, and a narrative that responds to player choices, this title is a great for anyone seeking an unforgettable journey into the heart of medieval England’s most famous forest, but the lack of multi-player Crossplay, accessibility options and use of the Dualsense controller makes us question if the game could have done better with more time.

UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER – The Feast of the Wolves succeeds in evoking nostalgia and delivering a faithful rendition of the Grendizer universe. Fans of the anime will undoubtedly appreciate the attention to detail in capturing the essence of the series. However, the game’s shortcomings, including repetitive missions, technical issues, and a lackluster upgrade system, prevent it from achieving greatness.
