One of the most compelling and immersive games of this generation.
Dragon's Crown Pro offers upgraded visuals and some nice audio options as a remaster, however for returning fans there isn't any special reason to go back for this. For others, however, this is the definitive version of a very enjoyable and stylish side-scrolling fantasy brawler.
I can sit down with my seven year old son and both of us will be having heaps of fun
An overall improvement and evolution of its predecessor Stories: The Path of Destinies. Omensight provides an exciting groundhog day style narrative which doesn't get tedious despite its repetition. Some challenging and swift combat sees you through, and an interesting and nicely designed world easily engages, despite some cringey dialogue.
the Street Fighter series continues to be just as iconic and sets the standard for the genre.
Dark Souls Remastered can be one of the most challenging, yet fulfilling and rewarding games I’ll ever play.
I don’t feel like I am crossing the line in saying that Vampyr is clearly the best title which Dontnod has ever developed, and most definitely the best game which Focus Home Interactive has ever published. If you are looking for the next big RPG to scratch your role-playing itch, then you don’t have to look further, as Vampyr has been crafted especially for you, and if you happen to also be a fan of the Soulsborne series then you’ll simply be in heaven with this particular game – even with all its slight imperfections.
While I have honestly thought that Paul Rustchynsky, and the ex-Evolution developers have given their all when crafting MotorStorm: Apocalypse, then I am more than happy to say that ONRUSH is a much superior title, which dwarfs all the other arcade racers of this generation, and should be seen by other developers and publishers as a shining example of what racing games should be like.
An excellent and unique tower defence, combining lane strategy and shooter gameplay to great effect.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is one of the best platformers that I’ve played in years
A promising and fun game let down by a myriad of technical issues.
This episode still feels somewhat of a run up to get the story and mechanics going, but if you enjoyed the first episode there is reason to continue, just don’t expect things to progress too much yet.
The Council successfully innovates on what has frankly become a bit of a tired genre in my opinion, but more importantly, how they have innovated works well and is enjoyable and adds value.
Far Cry 5 is an absolutely stellar game that does a lot of things right, as well as fixes a lot of issues with the previous games.
Frustrating in a few ways, but Kingdom Come is clearly a labour of love. An ambitious and impressive historical RPG with some deep combat and mechanics.
If newcomers can look past some of the games dated flaws, there is a lot to still appreciate here.
Mindless fun is the biggest selling point, and though I had hoped for some more weapons to play with and better level variety, Tesla vs Lovecraft is still a riotous twin stick shooter.
Kirby Star Allies will no doubt be one of the most pleasing and enjoyable games you’ll play this year.
Chuchel is a casual game with enough variation and challenge to engage an audience beyond children. He’s a funny little character and the world is intriguing and joyously bizarre.
I'm having an absolute blast playing through the Devil May Cry HD Collection
