5 / 10.0 - Windjammers
Sep 9, 2017

Overall, Windjammers is a fun and tight experience. It’s gameplay is tight and precise, while adding supers into the mix, which give it that extra spice for a fun time. Not only that, but it has great visuals, upbeat music, and a lovable 90’s aesthetic to boot. If only it were a little cheaper, so as to ease the sting of having something that won’t capture your playtime for very long.

8 / 10.0 - Absolver
Sep 7, 2017

Overall, Absolver delivers the most exciting thing to a martial arts game, carefully crafted to enjoy with other players, showing off the combos you created and unlocking exciting stance and styles for your character. This is a must for the fans of the fighting genre, this may have a few and frustrating issues, but if you take time on building and molding your character to be the best martial artist out there, then this is worth your time.

Since the game deals more with character development and how they cope rather than temporal philosophy, it may or maybe not divide its audience. Even though this is a prequel, I felt that this game should be played after the original for the way it is presented, think of it as bonus content rather than a standalone game.

Masquerada is clearly an interesting game. But it stands to improve a little bit more. It can get tiring moving from Point A to Point B with nothing to take us away from the main quest. Despite the rich world we’re given, there’s no need for any initiative to explore such a world. It’s clear that this isn’t a game that people can keep playing for more than a few hours straight without eventually taking a break from listening to characters talk over and over again. It can get tiring and repetitive when having to follow the main story without halt.

9 / 10.0 - Pyre
Aug 30, 2017

Overall, Pyre is another home run delivered by Supergiant games. It’s a game full of mystery, waiting to be uncovered and revealed, while containing a strategic sports game that has huge stakes on the line. The only other criminals, besides the characters in the game, is anybody who decides to skip out on this masterpiece.

The world is vast and there are a lot of things to do. It can be very overwhelming at the beginning but once you get the hang of it, the game can be very fun and fullfilling. It’s a full-blown old-school RPG so be prepared to do lots of questing and all that. It certainly didn’t get me interested at first but the more I play it, the more I uncovered its many wonders and delights. It’s a game worth taking a second look into so don’t be discouraged or dismiss it the first time you play it. It’s more than it leads on. It’s a great adventure if you invest your time in it.

6.5 / 10.0 - Agents of Mayhem
Aug 29, 2017

It’s definitely a fun game if you just want to lay waste on the world but other than that the gameplay becomes repetitive in time and it made me feel like once I’m done I don’t want to go back and play it. If you’re just looking for another open-world game to dive into, then go ahead and get it but if you’re after a game with an enriching story then this one is not for you.

8.7 / 10.0 - Mages of Mystralia
Aug 22, 2017

It’s a really interesting game with all the spells and puzzles that this game has to offer. With hundreds of spell combinations and possibilities, you will never get tired of discovering a new spell that you can unleash upon your enemies. If you like games like Yonder and Zelda, then this game is definitely for you.

For a game that started as a DLC and is now a full-blown standalone game, I can truly say that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a gem. A game so high-caliber that only Naughty Dog can produce and perfect. A game with such stunning visuals that the transition from cinematics to gameplay is so seamless you don't notice it at all.

I gotta hand it to Blizzard though, they made a great remaster and definitely met my expectations. I loved the newly improved multiplayer system and especially the strong community. Despite the lack of improvement with its CGI, StarCraft: Remastered is a remaster done right and it will live another 12 to 13 years before we get a new StarCraft installment.

7.7 / 10.0 - LawBreakers
Aug 14, 2017

Overall, Lawbreakers is a fun game to play. It’s a game where you can unwind and relax despite the chaos and frenzy that happens in game. It’s a game where you can feel like a pro or develop your skills as a pro. It’s a game that is inviting to any type of players, may you be someone new or someone who’s a veteran in shooters. It’s an entertaining game while it lasts but for how long, it is still up to its playerbase.

Overall, Patapon is a game that deserves its second chance and HD treatment. It’s a game with a unique concept, while managing to pull it off. It’s both a great RPG and rhythm game. While this entry shows it’s initial design flaws, especially with teaching its mechanics, it’s still a game worth playing. It doesn’t hurt too that those little patapon creatures are so cute with their dancing and musical chants.

After Batman Season 1’s finale, I said that it didn’t leave a memorable mark and I hoped that Season 2 will be better. I am happy to say that I was captivated with Batman: The Enemy Within – The Enigma. Despite the mediocre voice acting from Troy Baker (I still prefer Kevin Conroy), the pacing was great and I can’t wait how the story slowly unfolds in the next episode.

9.2 / 10.0 - Redeemer
Aug 11, 2017

For an indie title, Redeemer is a very fun and entertaining game. I’ve spent countless hours going through each level albeit dying in some of them but I kept going on because it was that enjoyable. If you want a challenging, top-down, action-packed game with great quality, then this a game worth looking into.

The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind is well worth it just even with the addition of the Warden class but moreso the fact that you will have lots of quests to play and some PVP on the side for those who just want to spill blood, it’s an expansion packed with features that makes it worth your while.

8.5 / 10.0 - Snake Pass
Aug 1, 2017

Overall, Snake Pass is something you shouldn’t pass up on. It’s a modern platformer that has the magic of the classic, while still managing to feel fresh and exciting. Although it’s worlds all feel similar, it was never a slog to get through each one.
