Despite its best intention to create an interactive story adventure, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia can be incredibly repetitive with its missions. The character roster here is incredibly varied and the fighting mechanics are complex although simple enough for newcomers to understand, but it is held back by a lackluster story and arcade mode.

Mercenary Kings Reloaded works best in co-op however the frustrating difficulty and repetitive nature of the mission design are still a problem if you want to play the game alone.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT does offer the ultimate fanservice, but it is held back by the lack of single player content and a poorly designed story mode. The combat system is fun although flawed in design due to the chaotic nature of battles.

Night in the Woods is as charming as ever on the Nintendo Switch. The performance is a bit of a mixed bag and there can be some bugs, but all said, it is a solid port that offers a great experience whether you play it on the big screen or take it with you for some portable adventure.

There is a lot of depth to the combat and a good amount of replay value for the main story content, however the similarity to Cyber Sleuth, even if it is all intentional, makes it harder for the game to stand out on its own and as a result, it looks like an expansion of the previous story with its own twists added on it.

This short season acts as a nice prequel to the lead-up into Life is Strange. It attempts to expand on the same story concepts with a different gameplay dynamic.

This is a nice little expansion that doesn't really add much for the upcoming Winter Olympics despite what the name might imply, but it feels like a good extension of the base game with some new content.

This is a actually a pretty decent clone of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch, and it might scratch that certain itch, but the terrible shop-based unlock system really sours the experience of playing the game and unlocking everything naturally.
