The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an amazing single-player action-RPG buried in a mediocre open world game. As much as everyone was wowed by the jump to open world with the third Witcher game, I seriously wish they'd stuck to the formula in their previous games. Sometimes bigger really isn't better.
Buy this game. Buy it now! I cannot stress this enough: if you don't have a Wii U, but you love - or loved - Mario games, buy a Wii U and this game now! This is the game you have dreamed of, and more!
While Mad Max promises thrills and violence, it only delivers on decent driving mechanics.
Mad Max is bloated, full of busy work, and keeps women locked in chains. Fury Road this is not.
Madden 16 is what the NFL wants to believe its league is: Clean, friendly, and inspirational. It's not.
If Until Dawn were the movie it was trying to be, it's Rotten Tomatoes score would be single digits.
It has a good story, good gameplay, a friendly interface, and a very unique building system. If zombies and open world games are your thing, hurry and grab your copy off Games with Gold before it disappears at the end of August.
Contemporary graphics – check Victorian setting - check Great atmosphere – check Gun-wielding, knight-slaying monsters (and rebels, mostly rebels… poor rebels…) - check However, the game left me unsatisfied and wishing for more.
The Descent has a solid story, some gorgeous scenery but some gameplay flaws hold it back from being a must buy DLC.
UbiSoft thinks it's okay to plaster paid DLC characters on the box art, which sums up what happened to the otherwise great Toy Soldiers series.
Rare Replay is a compilation with selective eye sight, but portrays the studio for what they did best: Character.
Gryphon Knight Epic is a retro game that will bring you back to good ole' days.
Nothing like what I expected, Victor Vran streamlines the ARPG experience and cuts out the grindfest.
RETSNOM is a brilliant puzzle game that will have you thinking hard about what to do next.
While beautiful and intriguing, the shortness and control issues make Toren feel like wasted potential
If you are looking for a satisfying and whacky 2.5D platformer, this is a great game to pick up.
It is fun to see the iconic king back in the silver screen to mess around with but if more work was put into this games controls, movement and etc, it would have been the game fitting of a king. Godzilla: The Game gets a 4/10. Maybe next time they will get it right before a kaiju war breaks out.
Rocket League is mechanically simple, but utterly brilliant because of it.
Batman: Arkham Knight combines phenomenal gameplay with compelling story. The product of this fusion is the best Batman game ever made.
Batman Arkham Knight is yet another AAA game that suffers from Hollywood inferiority complex.
