If you enjoyed Civilization V, then VI is right up your alley. If anything I've mentioned puts you off, then wait for some of the expansions to beef up the game.
In the end, this makes World of Final Fantasy worth playing for fans of the series. The flaws can be annoying, but in the broader scope of the story, characters, and setting, it doesn’t detract enough to disappoint.
Everything a sequel should be. Titanfall 2 delivers in every way.
If you are aching for a Mega Man-like platformer and in need a 3DS game, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is the way to go.
Like the game, this review is short and to the point - if you're wanting for a singular, beautiful experience, that may be a little thin but is no less memorable, Bound is a game for you.
This is one of those moments where style outweighs content. While there's not a whole lot of variety, the game shines on its positives. Even for the people that have no idea who Hatsune Miku is or what Vocaloid even means, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X is definitely worth a play. It certainly converted me.
If you want lasers and exploding robots, you've got 'em here in Livelock. Otherwise, there isn't much for you.
If you aren't a diehard fighting game/KoF fan, rent it or wait for a price drop. Fighting game/KoF fans? Go crazy. You'll enjoy it.
With its minimalistic approach, Abzû appeals to the senses, lets your imagination wander. It may not be completely innovative, but it surely earns its own place alongside Journey, Flower, and other titles of the same genre.
Bolstered by a supped up engine, Batman: The Telltale Series' first episode, "Realm of Shadows," is their strongest opening episode in years, and the most engaging take on the Caped Crusader in recent superhero adaptation history.
Every now and again a game is more than the sum of its parts; Hyper Light Drifter is a game that is precisely the sum of its parts. Taking inspiration from the very best, Preston and his team at Heart Machine have delivered an experience that shines. Occasionally obscured by the lack of a coherent visual language, the game relies on your willingness to invest a little bit of your head, your heart, and your guts and bravado. Given how good Hyper Light Drifter is, I don't think you'll find that very hard.
If you’re a fan of bullet-hell, synthwave, neon, the eighties, samurai swords, or creepy bunny masks, then you owe it to yourself to play Furi. If you’re a fan of none of the above, but you like masterful game design then you should play Furi. It respects you; it doesn’t pander to you, it’s subtle, and at the best of times it will make you feel like a skilled and masterful warrior, because by the end of it, you will be.
In my 26 hours of playtime, I finished the main story, saw a bunch of optional conversations, and completed 45% of the side quests. It’s fun in a mindless sort of way and it isn’t terrible but you’re not missing anything by skipping it.
Wait until this game gets a price drop or rent it somewhere. These cameos don't carry well.
A great addition to the Monster Hunter franchise, and something fans of the series will definitely be pleased with while opening the door for handheld players and newcomers.
Mighty No. 9 struggles to capture the magic of the better Mega Man games, but offers a decent enough experience. The game's bad pacing and overall lack of polish warrants a single play through that will probably be soon forgotten. The game has loads of potential, but doesn't really live up to it.
The Bespin DLC only improves Star Wars Battlefront and makes it an even more enjoyable experience for Star Wars fans.
Blood and Wine is perfection. It's more than a DLC, more than an expansion. The experience of Toussaint, its characters, and its stories are a testament to CD Projekt RED's caring craft in sending Geralt of Rivia on his last great contract.
DOOM has no business being a good game, yet it may end of being one of 2016's best.
If you have online capabilities and don't own Overwatch, you're missing out! Simple as that.
