Far Cry 4 doesn't do much to differentiate itself from its predecessor, but it doesn't necessarily have to.

If you've been looking for something different but not silly, grab a friend and gather around to experience a story passed through generations of Native Alaskan storytellers.

It may wear out its welcome for some, but there's no denying that it's successful in creating the dread players want from the genre. If you're a fan of horror in any medium, you need to play this game.

It's not perfect and the nostalgia goggles are likely affecting my memories of the first game but Bayonetta 2 is still a great time and better than pretty much any other action game out there.
Black Ops 3 is a well-rounded game that doesn't take the series forward. Its packed with a solid multiplayer experience, an okay campaign but loaded with a ton of content that'll surely keep its fans busy and happy.

Even by JRPG slow boil standards, Persona 5 takes forever to get going and trips over its own feet along the way, losing some progressive teeth in the process. But once it starts going it is still an absorbing experience thanks to some tight gameplay and fetching visuals. If you’re craving a new JRPG that will steal at least a hundred hours of your life while keeping you entertained, this one is for you.
With its minimalistic approach, Abzû appeals to the senses, lets your imagination wander. It may not be completely innovative, but it surely earns its own place alongside Journey, Flower, and other titles of the same genre.
If you have online capabilities and don't own Overwatch, you're missing out! Simple as that.
Ratchet & Clank is one of the best games on the PlayStation 4. It is filled with everything one can ask for in a great 3rd person action game that never takes itself too seriously.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD builds upon the success of the original. Though there isn't much new to see and the visuals are a disappointment it's still one of the best Zelda's available.
Lawbreakers is an impressive $30 package that boasts a lot of versatility in its design. While the high-octane gravity-controlling hero shooter brings a lot of action and entertainment, the lack of competitive matchmaking, a standard Deathmatch mode, and a map design that lacks going the extra mile holds it just shy of perfection. Regardless of the missed opportunities, Lawbreakers still hail-marys its way to the top of my personal favorite shooters list.
Like the base game, Fallout 4: Far Harbor excels past its issues with bugs and the crafting system with dynamic characters, wonderful world design, and genuine consequences and moral quandaries for players to navigate. A welcome righting of the ship for Fallout 4's DLC, and a bright indication of where Bethesda is going from here.
