7 / 10.0 - Dance Magic
Mar 15, 2016

Winning seems like an impossibility, but the actual core gameplay – the taking part – is so fun, that I cannot help but to play on. If you play this game, you'll likely be in the same boat.

9 / 10.0 - Action Henk
Mar 13, 2016

Action Henk is the perfect combination of easy to learn, but difficult to master gameplay with a massive helping of nostalgia in between. You can pick it up and play for 10 minutes, sure. But you’ll still want to know what’s happened with the last three hours.

3 / 10.0 - Alekhine's Gun
Mar 12, 2016

Avoid Alekhine's Gun. There are much better games out right now that are actually worth your time and money. Hell, there's a proper Hitman game out this month - go get that, it's a fraction of the price! Alekhine's Gun will not be remembered for its own efforts, but for the efforts of the Youtuber's that will tear it apart.

8 / 10.0 - Far Cry Primal
Mar 10, 2016

Far Cry Primal is able to stand out from the pack, throwing in enough new and appealing additions along the way to warrant a full-game release. As somebody who was largely disappointed in how similar Far Cry 4 was to its predecessor, I found Primal to be a breath of fresh air, adding in it's own new features while still keeping the core mechanics that we've grown to love from the series. It would be refreshing if Ubisoft could continue to do more with the series within upcoming installments, possible toying with more settings and time periods to prevent future entries from feeling monotonously familiar.

7 / 10.0 - Rainbow Moon
Mar 9, 2016

Rainbow Moon is an in-depth game with nice visuals. It offers plenty of game time to those who are familiar with the RPG genre, but I also believe it would not deter those who are not familiar to games of this ilk. Battles can be a chore to begin with, but with time, Rainbow Moon shines through.

Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is a neat little puzzling package that thoroughly entertains. Despite taking a different approach to gameplay, it very much remains a Hitman game.

This game will likely make such a fleeting appearance in your life that it'll disappear under the TV stand or behind the sofa. Sadly, a disappointment on many fronts.

6.5 / 10.0 - Heaven's Hope
Mar 7, 2016

Not the best adventure game I've ever played, but it's certainly fun, well drawn and with a decent enough storyline. Fans of the genre will likely enjoy this but it probably won't convert any new fans.

A fun little roguelike which is willing to give you everything, if you're willing to put in the time.

A fantastic RPG title that deserves your attention. Fair warning: if you do give this game your attention, good luck at prying it away. It's an addictive one...

9 / 10.0 - SUPERHOT
Mar 3, 2016

The most subversive twist in first-person shooter mechanics, on a par with its minimalistic and powerful visual style, SUPERHOT does not disappoint. Even though the story can be a bit too obtuse at times, the way the game plays out wrap it all up quite nicely, commenting on why we choose first-person shooters so often.

Ultimately, Get Together is a strong expansion for a pretty non-impactful base game and lifts it as a whole to the standard I would have expected in the first place.

When it comes to gameplay, Sorcery! won't be taxing for anyone. While the melee and magic combat don't shine on their own, they support the text adventure side of the game well, breaking up the extended periods of reading. Doesn't try to be an epic adventure, and will entertain over an afternoon.

The Following expansion pack is a fantastic, enjoyable addition to an already great game, you'll bound not to find a dull moment within. By the end you'll be wanting to do nothing more than get behind the wheel and creating chaos as you speed across the dirt roads, taking down zombies in a field of blood splattering glory.

A great shooter that offers a surprising amount of variety and content. The mechanics may be simple but EDF 4.1 showcases spectacle above all else and it always proves to be thrilling.

6.5 / 10.0 - Cobalt
Feb 28, 2016

For a game with such novel and simple mechanics, they're a bit too hard to get to make it a casual battle couch game. The story never grasped me entirely, and although it's mildly enjoyable, it never gets much better than that.

A lack of variety and a bit of polish on the mechanics leaves the game feeling less like a release and more like a well-made flash game you might find online. With a difficulty rating that shoots sky-high in relatively little time, this is a game that only the hardest of hardcore players will complete and enjoy to its full potential.

5 / 10.0 - Crashlands

Mediocre, yet imaginative, Crashlands is a game for those with a strong stomach for repetitive gameplay and oddball humor.

Price aside, Aveyond 4 gives a good account of itself as a game, being well-made and charming. Just wait for a sale, as the current price may deter those not in the top 1%.
