Anomaly Agent is a unique beat-'em-up game with a great story and fun mechanics. I think everyone should experience being Agent 70.
Guardians for Holme is a fun tower defence title that gets a bit repetitive, but it feels incredibly satisfying when you see waves of enemies destroyed by your traps!
Go Mecha Ball is a game full of adrenaline-filled action, strategy, and combat as both a ball and a mecha. It's action-packed, addictive, and a very challenging title!
GRAVEN manages to recreate the 90s action game, but that comes with the same issues that those games did.
While it can be jarring jumping from 2D animation into 3D, all three games tie into each other pretty well and offer a fun experience for both old and new fans.
Angel at Dusk is a simple and fun game, but the visuals and ease of finding other games like this make it hard to recommend.
Super Retro BoxBot is a fine puzzle game. It has some really simple mechanics but uses them well in devious ways to make you work for your solutions.
A fairly unique title with a bit less in it than I would like. It's fun and relatively low-priced, however, so it's probably worth taking a risk on a cheap 90 minutes of something that's unlike most other games.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a fun and challenging twin-stick shooter with great characters and a sense of humour. There's so much to do here that it will keep you busy for a long time!
A beautifully striking 2D platformer, The Cub is a challenging title that is well worth fully exploring. An easy recommendation for fans of platformers past and present.
MiceGard is an enjoyable game that has you controlling a group of Viking mice as a unit to fight off frogs that are attacking their village. There are some text issues, but it's a minor annoyance when playing.
A nice game with an interesting world and story that could really use some quality-of-life updates and a price reduction.
While a bit repetitious and simple, Bug & Seek is a relaxed and informational game about collecting bugs, solving a mystery, and getting to know the town. It's not for everyone, but it is a good game for a spot of casual gaming or a younger audience.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an awesome action platformer that pulls you in with its beautiful world and lore, evolving the metroidvania genre with a lot of great changes. You must play this game!
Blood West is a fantastic stealth FPS with some light immersive sim elements. The world feels incredibly bleak, yet super atmospheric, definitely worth the pickup!
Some poor scriptwriting is easily forgiven because this is a fun and engaging title. Perhaps not a game of the year contender, but definitely worth picking up.
This bite-sized romp through the stars is thoughtful, visually beautiful, and incredibly inclusive, but you might find its simple gameplay loop a bit too easy to be engaging.
Overall, Soul Tolerance: Prologue creates an interesting world and plot, but the lack of any real gameplay may turn most players away.
The Last Soldier of the Ming Dynasty has a few slip-ups, but there is a great game here if you are willing to look past the minor issues.
A good RTS with four different factions with distinct playstyles. If you want a taste of the Warhammer world, this may be a good place to start, though watch out for frantic combat and demanding action!
