JYDGE is a very fun and hectic twin-stick shooter on Nintendo Switch with bite-sized stages, making it perfect for regular gamers and for speedrunners alike. There are plenty of objectives to complete, a ton of cyberware enhancements and weapon upgrades to unlock and purchase, and millions of potential combinations for you to customize your JYDGE's loadout.
If you're looking for a hardcore 2D release on Nintendo Switch, then this will definitely scratch that itch.
If you're looking for a fun and fast-paced 2D action platformer, then you should certainly check out League of Evil.
Pinball FX3 is a must for pinball fans, and the Universal Classics Pinball Pack is definitely worth the price of admission. Two of the tables are great, and maybe you will have more fun with the Jaws table than I did. The visuals of all three tables in the pack are great, with superb animations, voice acting and sound effects that lure you in. Being able to import most of your Zen Pinball 2 purchases into the new platform is a great way to handle things, so kudos to Zen Studios for the support.
Super Ping Pong Trick Shot is a fun arcade-style release with plenty of control options so that you can have a go at it no matter where you are. The premise is simple and to the point, but sometimes that's exactly what you need to relax and unwind.
I can't recommend Tower of Babel on Nintendo Switch. There are far better games on the console from indie teams that you should definitely check out. The gameplay isn't bad and works, but the overall experience is not a good one. So unless you really need an endless runner on Switch, you should probably skip this one.
This Is the Police is one of the best simulators I have played this year: it's engaging, fun, and it never gets boring. It's the perfect game to play in handheld mode since it's a release you will want to play at all times. Download the game today!
I had a lot of fun playing Pressure Overdrive for this review. The colorful graphics and fast-paced twin-stick gameplay mechanics kept me hooked for a while as I continued to "play just one more level" until it was very late at night – I had been playing for several hours in a row! If you want a fun racing/action game on PS4, then you should definitely check this one out.
The Count Lucanor is a colorful, charming and fun release on Nintendo Switch. It's an addictive one that keeps you going until the end as you find yourself just trying to solve one more puzzle, until the adventure is over. Can you get all the endings? Let us know in the comments below!
If you're a fan of match-three puzzle games, then you should check out Sparkle 2 on Nintendo Switch. It has over 90 levels to complete, several gameplay modes, and solid gameplay mechanics you can enjoy at home or on the go.
Mystik Belle is a fun 2D Metroidvania/adventure game that is colorful, charming, fun and short. You'll get to defeat hundreds of enemies by the time your adventure is over, and if you're a trophy hunter, you'll probably need to complete the game at least twice. I had a blast playing this indie gem from Last Dimension, and I'm very happy that WayForward decided to bring it to PlayStation 4.
Overall the game is a lot of fun, improving on the formula from Yomawari: Night Alone, and it's definitely worth a purchase. The great graphics, music and eerie sounds are fantastic, and the game's story is definitely something you have to experience.
Caveman Warriors is fun game to play in couch co-op, but I wish the controls get fixed since they do need to be better.
Factotum 90 is a fun puzzler with solid gameplay mechanics and an ever increasing difficulty that feels just right. You'll need to take it slow as you solve the smaller puzzles that will eventually allow you to exit a stage, and the game's trophy list is very rewarding. If you're looking for an entertaining 3D puzzler on PS4 then you should definitely check out Factotum 90!
Conga Master Party is a fun game that offers both single player fun as well as multiplayer modes so that up to four players can get in on the action. Its simple gameplay mechanics make it very easy for players of all skill levels to jump into the party, making it a great option for breaking it out for some multiplayer mayhem at, well, parties!
Considering how video game movie tie-ins sometimes aren't good – especially nowadays when the most we get is a free mobile game tie-in – The Mummy Demastered could've been a disaster.
Nightmare Boy has a lot to offer, with a solid action platforming adventure with Metroidvania elements. While the game itself is not that difficult, the bosses will definitely require more work on your end. If you think you're having trouble, be sure to make good use of the difficulty settings to tailor the experience to your level of expertise! Nightmare Boy is a good option from The Vanir Project and BadLand Games on PS4, so be sure to check it out!
36 Fragments of Midnight is a short procedurally generated adventure that is a budget release for Nintendo Switch. It offers us an option for our younger family members to have a crack at a platformer they can easily understand and complete with some trial and error here and there. If you have young ones below the age of six in your family, then this might be a good option.
Overall Transcripted is a very fun and highly addictive game that does a great job at mixing two different gameplay mechanics into a good looking and entertaining release. This one does not include a Platinum trophy, which is a bummer, but it's something that shouldn't get in the way of your enjoyment.
The game is still very compelling and does a great job of creating an overall package. Check this game out as it's worth your attention.
