Super Mario 64 keeps its whole interest from historic and nostagic points of view, a revolutionary approach that Super Mario Sunshine spreads in every sense of the word, while Super Mario Galaxy takes off literally outer space, among the brightest three dimensional platformers. Such true ports preserve these masterpieces' authenticity, but the Super Mario 3D All-Stars title suggested more, both in content and style. Brilliant HD renditions with fully available soundtracks on the go don't shine enough to overshadow some old issues and Super Mario Galaxy 2's glaring omission from this otherwise stellar collection.

eFootball PES 2021 does exactly what it says. Well, not exactly, as it took some time to refine a few gameplay elements of its predecessor to become even more enjoyable on the pitch - even online.

Battletoads has a great look, and a lot of differents gameplay sequences, but most of them are boring and too long.

13 Sentinels : Aegis Rim dives us into a complex story, mixing heroes, periods of time and themes to deliver a love letter to japanese science fiction. Curiously, the game is strictly divided between phases, switching from narrative story-driven thumbnails to minimalist strategy fights, delivering a strange but satisfying experience for every Japan lover and 2D aesthete.

NBA 2K21 gives us the same observation as that established a year earlier with NBA 2K20: that of stagnating within the saga, without any real major improvement. But this time, the few bets attempted by the development studio have the main consequence of serving the game, at least in its first approaches and making it even a little less accessible to the general public. A quality episode certainly, despite its flaws, but not up to expectations. We could expect better for a transition to the new generation of consoles ...

Marvel's Avengers allows players to play through an entertainment main story but is held back by its uninspired Destiny-like gameplay and numerous technical issues. Square Enix should have allowed Crystal Dynamics to create a more full on AAA single player game instead.

A scripted experience that will certainly appeal to die-hard fans of the Star Wars saga, but less so to others as many PS VR games have done much better before it.

Alt254 is a nice minimalist adventure, which let players freely explore a pixelated world, borrowing simple mecanics from masters of the genre. Despite a hard beginning, the game truly gives the feeling of exploration, and manages to tell a mysterious story through its graphical limitation, thanks to a well designed open world and clever puzzles.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 finally brings back the noise of a beloved franchise, after so many failed attempts. This remaster compile the arcade gameplay and the sillyness of two famous games to deliver a classic but loving experience for every fan of the genre. If only this duo turned into a trio, the party would have been perfect.

As its title suggests, Tell Me Why depicts the journey of two siblings trying to find the truth about their twisted past. Adressing in a mature way the transgender question, the game also delivers an interesting perspective on the flaws of human memory, with the confrontation of childhood recollections. The second episode sometimes moves at low pace and the game lacks of new environments, but the overall experience is memorable.

Captain Tsubasa : Rise of New Champions is not a very good arcade-style football game. But it has the Captain Tsubasa's signature that offers some epic moments during its matches, and everything fans need to be hooked, like two story modes and some basic but strong ways to play with friends offline or online. It's very simplistic, quickly repetitive, but also very very enjoyable, especially if you're in need of something less serious.

EA Sports UFC 4 delivers some good fighting sensations, adds some interesting mechanics, but it feels like EA could have polished its Carreer Mode and added a few more things, like replacing Ultimate Team, to make it really better than UFC 3.

If you are an experienced pilot and already have X-Plane with premium paid content, you won't upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well, not right away. Because if we can find problems with Asobo's baby, none of them is insoluble and will undoubtedly see improvements to strive even more towards perfection. As it stands, Flight Simulator is already a benchmark platform that will undoubtedly establish itself as the civil flight simulation of the decade. Checkmate.
