Astro Bot is a for VR platforming instant classic. In some ways, it is to virtual reality what Mario 64 was to 3D, as it uses a new technology to push new boundaries in the genre. We would have loved for it to last a bit longer though !

Punch Line is a quite good visual novel with an interesting story and a lot of fan service.

To celebrate its late 30th birthday, the Blue Bomber comes back with a strong 11th episode which finally takes some risks. The brand new Double Gear System breezes a fresh wind on the still satisfying classic mecanics of the series. With twisted boss fights and four very well-though difficulty modes, only the very meh soundtracks might forbid you to call bakc this old pal.

While the classic campaign only revamps the old, individualistic, yet outrageaously randomised formula by developing few recent additions, Super Mario Party displays a more strategic approach through special dices dedicated to each character and cooperative modes. This episode also features diverse wonderful mini games that cleverly use the ergonomic particularities of the Nintendo Switch, with a solid competitive dimension even extended online, but the whole programme lacks some more content to be really worthy of such superlative a title.

If Strange Brigade has the good idea to offer an original set and tone in the kind of cooperative shooter, it does so either too late or too bad, but in any case, it does not fully convince. Especially against the competition already in place.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey seems to be the series paroxysm : wider, richer and deeper than every other episode, the game still suffers from repetitiveness. The fascinating manhunt and the real choices will keep most players hooked up for a while, but only those who bought a PS4 Pro or a Xbox One X will benefit form the game's beautiful visuals. If you want to explore this endless greek world inhabited with brilliant minds of their time, you will have to go through more of the same fetch quests the series has dealt with for so long.

428 : Shibuya Scramble is clearly a game worthy of its Japanese reputation. Spike Chunsoft's Visual Novel tells a riveting story and makes a really clever use of its multiple bad endings system. The game gives you a tour of the real Shibuya and introduces you to a cast of characters that grows on you very fast. It grows on you so much in fact, that once the game ends, you're sad that you'll never see them again.

Dakar 18 has plenty of good ideas and has managed to capture what makes the interest of a rally raid like the Dakar. Unfortunately his deficient performance in terms of sensations is causing him great harm. This will only be bearable for true motorsport enthusiasts and this particular kind of event. The others will remain stucked on a rigid animation and a technical realization globally below the average.

Fishing Sim World will probably satisfy fishermen who want to indulge in their favorite leisure on consoles or PCs. The presence of reproduced material faithfully, inspired by the real world will provide. but all the others will pass their way in front of the lack of efforts to democratize this sport and to propose it to the greatest number. According to Dovetail, the success of the previous edition (not released on consoles) has been consistent in the US. This one will undoubtedly also remain on the overseas.

At first, Timespinner feels like a splendid new contender in the Metroidvania genre. It has some trong visuals and music, combat feels good, it offers maps we definitely want to explore and its story and characters are great. But this game feels a bit too easy, should have pushed the time manipulation idea and lacks epicness in its boss fights, among other things.

Hokuto Ga Gotoku is clearly one of the best, if not the best, Fist of the North Star video games. Using the Yakuza system was a good idea as it fits with the FOTNS like a glove. It's just too bad that the game runs on Yakuza 0's and not Yakuza 6's engine.

Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai is a pretty good fighting game, despites its old and questionable design.

The Bard's Tale IV is a little retro pleasure that is hard to ignore. The characters are fun, its universe is rich and the game mechanics are deep. Unfortunately, the game is not up to par visually and looks like something that was released ten years ago.

South Park : The Stick of Truth is by far the best South Park game ever made and one of the funniest video games ever. Gamers who enjoy a good laugh owe it to themselves to play this game. And the fact the Switch allows players to take the game everywhere with them make things even better.

If FIFA 18 seemed like an good start for the franchise on Nintendo Switch, it's difficult to say FIFA 19 is not a disappointment. Even if it's an enjoyable soccer game, there has been no great improvements on the pitch and you won't find anything new in FUT or Career Mode. At least, Champions League is here, with Online Gaming with friends and Kick Off 2.0 options for your games. But we were hoping EA Sports would try to make a better game. Anyway, as FIFA 19 is alone on the pitch of the Switch, it's still the best.

Track Lab is a nice music creator game, but you can't create full songs, you can only mix. The creation of samples is interesting and the VR saves the game from being pointless. Without it, the game would lost all of its interest.

Among all the episodes released so far, Burning Bridges is the most engaging of all. The plot takes giant steps forward and lift the veil on the mysteries surronding Lord Mortimer. Alas, the technical issues are still there and the scenography lacks rhythm. Let's hope that the last episode will fix this.

It starts badly for the characters, but very well for the players. It's a sad story for Sean and Daniel. And we already know with some sequences of this episode that Life is Strange 2 has a chance to be a successful heir to the first season, thanks to its unique atmosphere, well-written characters and some tough choices to make. Potential is here. It's clear DONTNOD has the power to fulfill it.

The new installment from the polish studio Artifex Mundi is a real treat for the eye. But despite its appealing visuals, My Brother Rabbit fails to deliver a thrilling experience over time. It does not really matter actually as the game can be enjoyed in a few amount of time (three or four hours).
