7 / 10 - Donut County
Aug 31, 2018

If you take Donut County for what it is - a short and weird experience - Ben Esposito's game will deliver a sweet moment of a strange experiment. Built as an anti-Katamari Damacy, the hole mecanics are really addictive and fun to play with, even though the game suffers from a very short length. But if you are curious enough to try something as weird as the most bizarre japanese games, you might be in for a treat.

8 / 10 - The Messenger
Aug 31, 2018

Even if it tends to be a bit frustrating in its second half, as it opens up a bit, The Messenger is still a magnificient and really great to play independent action platformer with some clever ideas and a lovable personnality.

8 / 10 - Hollow Knight
Aug 30, 2018

Team Cherry's Hollow Knight avoid all the traps of the Kickstarter project : with its strong artistic direction, the game offers a deep adventure, but only to those strong enough to get through the cryptic beginning of the game. If you feel like trying your best, Hollow Knight, will deliver memorable memories, thanks to its wonderful environments and very intelligent soundtrack. Too bad many players will quit before seeing it.

8 / 10 - F1 2018
Aug 29, 2018

Polished on many aspects that were defects, this F1 2018 is an excellent vintage to justify its purchase even for those who own the previous version. The new regulations are also numerous and it is essential to follow the movement to stick to reality. With its driving combining both sensations and racing strategy, F1 2018 brings an unusual depth in car games. Fans of formula one, go for it. For others, you will learn a lot about discipline if you decide to give it a try.

I have a weird love-hate relationship with Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. At times, its nostalgic, its nicely written story and its unique design just blows me away but at other times, I simply hate its poorly designed interfaced, its lack of innovation and the simple fact that it never dares to try anything new. When it does something, it does it perfectly, but it simply doesn't feel enough in 2017. It plays it way too safe for its own good.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is not the game you were expecing and that's okay. It is a painfully restrictive and tough title that punishes you for every single mistake you make - which is not exactly what Monster Hunter World does. However it is also an amazingly rewarding game which will make your heart beat twice as fast everytime that you will land a successful hit on a G rank Rathalos. Best enjoyed with friends, this is the game you want to get to the next level of hunting.

Aug 27, 2018

With a very well crafted gameplay, PES 2019 is able to deliver some intense, gratifying, gorgeous looking soccer games. The fact is that it is as fantastic on the pitch (except for a referee that can forget to let the game play instead of whistling), that it's lame on the content side. Nothing really new in terms of content or UI, which is not harmful for soccer games evenings with friends but can start to annoy those who wait for more from Konami.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is clearly the update Yakuza 2 deserved. The very talented people over at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios recreated the riveting Yakuza 2 plot while adding new side quests and activities. Even if a couple of elements from the original game are now missing, Kiwami 2 has more than enough content to keep players glued to their scree to their screens. It must also be noted that the Dragon Engine looks and runs better than it did in Yakuza 6. All in all, Kiwami 2 another great Yakuza game that fans of the series should not miss.

7 / 10 - Guacamelee! 2
Aug 21, 2018

Very similar to his predecessor but now playable up to four friends, Guacamelee! 2 always offers a mastered Metroidvania adventure, fun and colorful.

The Persistence is an immersive, but not so scary, PSVR stealth game set in a spaceship full of zombies. It uses Rogue-lite mechanics in a good way, feels very punishing- but not impossible - and has some cool weapons to fight in its procedurally generated levels, that you can visit with a friend using a tablet.

8 / 10 - Shenmue 1 & 2
Aug 20, 2018

Shenmue I & II gives players the opportunity to experience slightly updated versions of two of the all-time greatest games. Even though we would have loved for Shenmue I and II to get real remakes, both games still have a lot to offer to 2018 gamers. Very few titles can claim to be as immersive as Shenmue I and II and it's great to be able to dive into its universe once more. What could have been if the port hadn't been so lazy.

6 / 10 - Detached
Aug 17, 2018

Detached is a pretty decent VR game, but the game is too short and you get lost most of the time.

A morbidly amusing narrative in the background of a facetious universe, along with hilarious characters and their puzzling torments, Flipping Death undoubtedly transpires coherence as an adventure game, proving that the genre still belongs to the world of the livings.

5 / 10 - We Happy Few
Aug 15, 2018

If the pop, British and psychedelic universe, inspired by Brazil, Nineteen Eighty-Four and Brave New World, proposed by Compulsion Games is surprising and offers a very immersive story, the mechanics of survival game and crafting ruin the plot of the game, giving an unpleasant feeling of a mutant game, too dispersed for his own sake and suffering from many technical problems.

7 / 10 - State of Mind
Aug 13, 2018

With a thrilling scenario that keeps the player spellbound until the epic ending, State of Mind, however, fails to captivate the player in the gameplay department, at least during the first half of the game. It remains a satisfying experience, with a real reflection on the excesses of a technology-based society.

That's what we can call a pretty good start for the last season with a lot of promises based on what a grown Clementine is now for Alvin Junior. A few things have changed and we hope what 's coming next will be good enough so that we can leave one of the best video games characters without any regrets.

This Monster Hunter World PC version is not perfect, notably because of lack of details in textures definitions and some errors in binding of keyboard. And the game dont have cross-platform. For the rest, game is a good experience with lot of graphics options like 60FPS possibility and more. We just need to wait for HD textures pack to have the ultimate PC version.

6 / 10 - Picross S2
Aug 8, 2018

Picross S2 feels exactly like the previous game. It is still very addictive, but also unable to bring some real new stuff to the mixture, except a rebranded Micross mode.

6 / 10 - Chasm
Aug 6, 2018

Chasm is a quite good tribute to some classic games of the Metroivania genre, with some pleasant retro style visuals. But many things are lacking - like some fresh ideas and a tighter level design - to make it more than a satisfying experience.

8 / 10 - Dead Cells
Aug 6, 2018

Being in development for such a long time, Dead Cells avoids the trap and lives up to its expectations. Nevertheless, only those brave enough to face its strong difficulty will be able to discover a deep and generous adventure. Despite a certain level of repetitiveness, even though the randomly generated levels stilla re hand-driven, Dead Cells' offers a brilliant artistic direction and a great but discreet soundtrack.
