Sports Interactive went further into realism by implementing novelties in particular in the training and the matches with the appearance of VAR for example. In the end, FM 2019 is the perfect representation of German football, which it obtained the licence: efficient, solid, and never disappointing.

Call of Cthulhu is an ode to Lovecraft and fantastic literature, a success in terms of atmosphere with a pleasant artistic part. Sadly, the game is too weak technically speaking. The main quest is interesting but players in search of an RPG with a bit of freedom will probably realize too soon that the game is actually a very linear experience.

The Missing is a Limbo-like game where you have to die to resolve the puzzles. Even if it's too easy to finish and not very convicning technically speaking, this game has a lot to offer in terms of story and atmosphere, brilliant.

First time missed for Black Clover in videogame, through this TPS with zero inspiration and lamentable execution.

7 / 10 - The Room

Despite its short life (three hours only), The Room is probably one of the best puzzle games of recent years

If you already both games of this compilation, it's not exactly worth it, as it is mainly Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night in their PSP versions - without the 2.5 version of the first one. But if you've never played those, it's a pleasant, but not very joyful, way to discover them.

There's a new sheriff in the open-world action game genre in town. Red Dead Redemption 2 is sure ambitious but it succeeds everywhere he travels : exploration, gunfights, stealth, main quest, characters, side quests, customization, acting, hunting, fishing... Name one element, it delivers. And it sure looks like one of the best looking games ever seen and has many secrets yet to be discovered. And so it can be considered as a masterpiece, an extraordinary, legendary game that we will talk about with sincere admiration for ages.

Starlink is a real little Space Opera open world, which is both very neat in its implementation but also in its gameplay and game system, more complex than it seems. In any case, we take a lot of fun to "clean" all the objectives of these 7 planets, in the purest tradition of Ubisoft games ... And despite its lack of variety. Except maybe with the StarFox scenario on Switch, definitely the best of the three versions even with the (small) downgrade.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 improves on a quite a few aspects of the original game like game modes and gameplay mechanics. But its microtransaction model leaves a sour taste in the player's mouth. Unlocking great players takes a very long time and the game wants to get you to buy in-game credits. But if you're patient, or spending more money isn't a problem for you, you can have a lot of fun with NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.

Fire Pro Wrestling World offers a truly great alternative to the WWE 2K games. With its deep gameplay mechanics, its Visual Novel-like story mode and the addition of the New Japan Pro Wrestling roster, Spike Chunsoft's wrestling game is a must play for hardcore wrestling fans.

SoulCalibur VI is a solid fighting game that offers good mechanics and a lot of content to enjoy some legendary fights with weapons. But the roster feels limited and, in terms of visuals, the game seems to have the same design than SoulCalibur V.

Dark Souls remastered on Nintendo Switch is still a fantastic game. And with good technical and visual performances, that version has one killer feature that other versions doesn't : portability !

CoD Black Ops 4 is a good game, where Treyarch succeeds in offering a AAA Battle Royale experience packed with goods ideas. The Zombie mode is bigger and exhilarating, but unfortunately the classic multiplayer mode doesn't offer anything really new. All that is not enough to make us all forget the solo campaign, who totally disappeared in this episode.

Now on Nintendo Switch, The Worlds Ends with You Final Remix is still a good and enjoyable game, but the port is lazy. Everything comes from Solo Remix, a mobile version from 2014, and the added gameplay system, with one Joy-Con that is used as a wiimote is not as efficient as it should be.

8 / 10 - WWE 2K19
Oct 12, 2018

Even though WWE 2K19 doesn't offer the graphical overhaul the franchise so desperatly deserves, it takes quite a few steps in the right direction. Its new modes are fun, the Showcase mode makes a triumphant return and its new features are well thought out. WWE 2K19 clearly gives WWE fans something to have a good time with.

Space Hulk: Tactics is an intelligent strategy game that offers deep and satisfying mechanics. The Warhammer 40.000 universe is well represented and the atmosphere is a beautiful love letter to every Warhammer's fan in the the world. Despite this, the game has some annoying bugs and frustrating loading times...

Once again, Grezzo delivers a strong port for the 3DS, even though players of the original game should not expect so many new features. With only a small co-op mode and some items from Luigi's Mansion 2, the game really aims those who might have miss it back in 2002.
