Star Wars Jedi Survivor is in every way superior to Fallen Order.

Crime Boss could have been a nice experience, especially since there is no 400 Payday-like. There was clearly a niche to be taken while surfing on that nice cast of actors, but nothing was done. Minimal service, failed service with this. Since between the bad ideas of gamedesign, the absent direction, the failed dubbing and the far from great graphics, it's hard to recommend it. Especially since for less than twenty euros, Payday 2 does a better job, despite its age.

6 / 10 - Dead Island 2
Apr 18, 2023

Dead Island 2 is a pleasant game, but far from being memorable. It is as often fun as it is boring. The average quests don't fully engage us and the game fails to make us want to explore. Fortunately, the second part of the game is better, both in terms of level design and scenario. Too bad the ending is disappointing.

Gunfire Games did what they could to bring Remnant From the Ashes to the Nintendo Switch. The downgrade is real with clear visual concessions, much longer loading times and a game that is less enjoyable on the go due to the inaccuracy and lack of ergonomics of the Joy-Con.

Minecraft Legends is an excellent entry point into the RTS genre for young players or those who have never touched a strategy game in their life. For the others, , the title is a small disappointment with a cruel lack of strategy.

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 is not a bad game, but a bad sequel. It's certainly entertaining and successful in many ways, but it's no different from the first game. Yes, it's a sequel directly related to the first episode, but still. The new features can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are not sufficiently marked to really add value. Except maybe the night sorties, which are fun, a bit creepy and devilishly stressful. A very honest and fun PSVR 2 game, but not essential.

With this big update, Resident Evil Village is easily positioned as one of the spearheads of PSVR 2.

Road 96 Mile 0 is a rather nice dive into the dystopian universe. The prequel suffers from its classical aspect and loses everything that made its predecessor so special and instead brings musical sections that are rather boring and imperfect on consoles. A game that nevertheless manages to shine at times thanks to its soundtrack, its pop atmosphere and its staging that is sometimes really impressive.

Meet Your Maker is a singular multiplayer game that mixes dungeon crawler, tower defense and community creation in a very interesting way. The recipe is addictive, and you can come back to it from time to time while pecking.

In its current state it is a deluge of bugs and optimization problems. Despite this, the game is sublime.

5 / 10 - Gripper
Mar 29, 2023

Gripper is a boss rush inspired by Furi but different in its core gameplay. Here you are riding a bike to defeat your ennemies, using a winch to destroy them. If the gameplay can be satisfying sometime it can be very frustrating lacking some tweaks here and there, especially on the Switch, to help the player reading the action and knowing what must be done to win the fight.

Terra Nil is a a deeply soothing and relaxing game. Very beautiful artistically, we only regret that it is too short.

The Great War Western Front is a unique game. The game seems to be constantly juggling between historical veracity and the obligation to make it a playful work.

7 / 10 - Anno 1800
Mar 21, 2023

ANNO 1800 succeeded in its bet to make itself playable and enjoyable on home consoles. It's pretty beautiful, and the gameplay with the controller is successful although it will require a little time of adaptation to be tamed.

7 / 10 - Tchia
Mar 20, 2023

Tchia is a classic open world, that takes great inspiration from other games. If not for its tropical environments, its beautiful artistic direction and its culture, it would have been just another déjà-vu game. Instead, it's a real invitation to travel despite its numerous technical problems. It's hard to resist its stunning landscapes, its sweet melodies and its relaxing rhythm. A generous and exotic game that made ambitious things with little meanings.

Revisiting such another cult classic game, after the remake of Resident Evil 2, wasn't an easy task. In the end, Capcom did a fantastic job and Resident Evil 4 Remake is easily one the best episodes ever released.

We would have loved to love Project Zero 4: The Mask of the Lunar Eclipse which, let's face it, is still above the fifth part. But now, by choosing the path of the remaster, Koei Tecmo prevents the game from erasing its flaws of yesteryear.

How to rate Powerwash Simulator? If one is factual and relies on purely mechanical criteria, the game is not up to par. It does not offer crazy gameplay, ultimately only varies its environments, and is not a technical showcase.

Return to Castlevania is an obvious and great mix between Dead Cells and Castlevania. This new DLC is a great tribute to the Konami historic video game saga. If you already a Dead Cells player, you will obviously like playing with all the new toys Motion Twin is offering and if you never played Dead Cells but love Castlevania, now it's now or never to try out this incredible Roguevania!
