Critic Reviews for LEGO Voyagers

A game so lovely it's hard not to feel sad when it's all over. A brief adventure that will leave a lasting impression.

LEGO Voyagers is a truly delightful co-op puzzle adventure with a ton of heart that really captures the essence of what LEGO is all about.

LEGO Voyagers is a very different kind of game than the licensed stuff we already know and love, but it’s a good kind of different. If only it weren’t over so quickly.

Charming and easy enough to logic your way through.

The game is intentionally abstract and open to interpretation, so you'll fill in the gaps with your partner: you create a relationship between your Lego avatars, shorthand for game terms to get through levels, and eventually build a new, player-specific version of the game for yourself. Light Brick Studio did a great job designing Lego Voyagers, but the experience I built with my partner is what will stick with me.

Lego Voyagers is a gorgeous and touching story of companionship built for two.

While I adored Lego Voyagers' visual style and emotive design of the main bricks, I often found the actual puzzles underwhelming, and the game ended just as they started to get interesting. If you ever find this on sale and want to just enjoy an evening with someone, this is a clever little co-op adventure with surprisingly touching themes. But when it comes to the difficulty of the main puzzles and the amount of content on offer, Lego Voyagers feels a few bricks short of a full set.

LEGO Voyagers is quite easily my favorite LEGO game ever. It's a super short, but endlessly sweet co-op journey that will tug at your heartstrings by the end and stick with you long after the credits roll.
