If you are coming into this as a curious fan of the Souls series, there are a lot of commonalities that may be intriguing, but those are merely accents to what is truly a classic Team Ninja experience.

9 / 10.0 - Hogwarts Legacy
Feb 22, 2023

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best surprises I’ve experienced in some time. Despite being a muggle through and through, it fully engrossed me in its world and filled me with a child-like charm that I haven’t felt from any other recently released game.

“Metroid Prime Remastered” is a perfect reminder of the ways that Nintendo helped to shape the industry, but it’s also a reflection that sheds light on a greater creative void from Nintendo since that original 2002 release.

It may not be my absolute favorite game of 2022, but it certainly is one of the most fun from this year.

8 / 10.0 - The Knight Witch
Nov 28, 2022

The Knight Witch is a story-driven, flying Metroidvania shoot ’em up deck builder RPG. God of War takes the essence of what it means to be mortal and packs it into this digital medium to form a bond with those who are experiencing it first-hand. I tossed myself at Ragnarök for a sense of escapism, and what I ended up receiving was a testament to life and what it means to live and be loved.
