At the end of the day, Resident Evil is still the same great game that it was when it released on the Nintendo Gamecube. The game looks good at 1080p and it's great for those wanting to relive the mansion incident or for those that want to enter the survival horror for the first time.
It's not a game for everyone; to get the most from this game, you already have to be a pinball fan…and I don't know many pinball fans. Still, for only $9.99 at release, I'd say it's worth a shot.
The game does stumble a bit with its battle sequences and slow start, but I would recommend Endless Legend to anyone that is a fan of the genre, or even newcomers who are looking to try it out.
Curtain Call is every bit as addictive as the original and the new control options and adjustments to unlocking content make it even more enjoyable to play.
While you're busy destroying your brain to figure out the game's logic, you will at least have a beautiful environment to look at. Unfortunately, graphics alone do not make a game great.
My final opinion and score for this game really comes down to the audience. If you are a fan of Japanese pop culture, or you are an otaku yourself, you are sure to find something to love in this game.
If you're going into this game without knowing what it's about, you might find yourself getting frustrated very quickly. However, if you're looking to play a game and just goof around then Surgeon Simulator is a great choice.
...but for those who give it a chance, you'll find what I believe to be one of the best stories in video games of recent memory. Even if you have to seek it out on PSP, it is most definitely a game worth your time.
If you can deal with the game's difficulty, which isn't off putting but not exactly new player friendly, Abyss Odyssey is definitely a game worth a shot.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastered is the definitive versions of these cherished games and something that every Final Fantasy or RPG fan should add to their collection.
The story of Final Fantasy XIII and its characters is concluded in Lightning Returns, but both the ending, and the road to it don't form a cohesiveness that you would expect from a Final Fantasy title.
If you’re a big online person, Resident Evil 6 is worth picking up as we know its multiplayer modes will be expanding. However if it’s the story you’re after, you might be better off sitting this one out, you’re not missing much.
I found Bastion to be a great game. The visuals are beautiful, the narration is well done, the story feels solid and the soundtrack is so good that I even purchased the album to listen to when I'm not playing the game.
