Sky: Children of Light is an indie open world social game that has some stunning visuals. Flying in Sky is one of the most chill experiences I've had this year.

8.5 / 10.0 - Overboard!
Jul 19, 2021

Inkle Studios' Overboard won't be every gamer and why should it be? If you're the type who likes to take a more relaxed approach to their gaming and don't mind reading then Overboard is a solid game choice! You as the player make your own choices and choose your own actions to drive the story down different paths. A lot of the fun is based on playing a detective's nemesis where you're trying to outwit other characters to get away with murder!

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a very atmospheric game, full of feelings and emotions. It is beautifully terrifying and terribly beautiful, allowing players to admire the destroyed cathedral and crumbling statues, a decayed village, a flooded temple of magic and other charmingly gloomy locations.

7 / 10.0 - Pathway
Jul 2, 2021

Sure, the idea’s aren’t genre defining and the story itself is a bit of a cheesy romp, but when my biggest complaint is that the port to Nintendo Switch could really have done with narrative and UI text that isn’t minuscule, there’s not a lot wrong. Pathway is a wonderfully upbeat ode to adventure flicks of old. The deliberately arcane pixel art shines though while the tone and setting never make gameplay a second fiddle.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is an amazing but very pricey upgrade to a game that quite rightly got our Game of the Year 2020. Graphically, the difference this time around is notiacable and the brand new DLC is a fresh new look an an adventure we've played out many times before.

7.5 / 10.0 - Grand Casino Tycoon
Jun 24, 2021

Overall, Grand Casino Tycoon is a fun title with a great atmosphere that you get to create with the different setups that you can create. The ambiance created by different floor tiles, music, and overall setup will help you make the decision to play this title. For 24.99 USD this is a no-brainer as a fun and cheap title to play. Other than the couple of glitches that I found this was an absolute blast to play.

8 / 10.0 - Scarlet Nexus
Jun 23, 2021

The game combines a good combat system, an extensive deep storyline, and nice graphics. The interactions between the protagonists and the world look believable, and you can tell that developers have a lot of love for characters and the world of Scarlet Nexus.

9 / 10.0 - ForeVR Bowl
Jun 18, 2021

While you don't have an actual bowling ball in your hand, and there are still few things missing compared to the live experience. ForeVR Bowl does an excellent job of making bowling in VR fun. For $19.99 USD it is hard to pass up, and the game is even more fun to play with friends. I can't wait to see the next round of improvements.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos – Ruins of Limis is the first DLC for the turn-based dungeon crawler released by developed Artefacts Studio and publisher Dear Villagers. The party of questionable adventures continues their adventure in a new area filled with the undead. Unfortunately, the short outing doesn't live up to the fun of the base campaign. Check out what works and what didn't in our review.

8 / 10.0 - Stonefly
Jun 2, 2021

A wonderful coming of age adventure wrapped up in a gameplay loop that never asks much but delivers a gorgeous world to explore. Stonefly isn't going to save the world but it might make your insides a wee bit warmer.

Star Wars Pinball VR has given me one of my first experiences on the Quest 2 headset and it didn't disappoint. It has almost everything a Star Wars fan such as myself would want for long gaming sessions with a headset on. For $24.99 it is worth the money to play tables from the original trilogy and some of the other better television shows and movies as well. I highly recommend this title for any VR enthusiast or Star Wars fan.

9 / 10.0 - Swarm
May 21, 2021

Swarm is an arcade-style shooter by Greensky Games with face-paced action and a quirky storyline. Between the colorful enemies, bright environments, and high-energy music, it is a blast to play. Does it have enough replay value to keep the fun going long-term? Check it out in our review.

For newcomers to the series, it’s a fantastic option because, obviously, you’re not gated by a hundred different consoles just to experience the story for yourself. It’s incredibly easy just to boot up one of the collections and get started carving your way through armies of heartless. For veterans of the series, it’s a great way to relive your childhood for the exact same reasons.

8 / 10.0 - Demeo

Demeo is a roguelike dungeon crawler RPG by Resolution Games. The team goes a long way to recreate the feel of playing tabletop RPGs and miniature RPG lite board games but in a VR environment. Did they succeed? Check it out in our review.

9 / 10.0 - Until You Fall
May 5, 2021

Until You Fall is a roguelike brawler by Schell Games. The game has vibrant environments, a high-energy soundtrack, and is challenging. While the combination of these elements keeps you coming back for more, is it enough for the long-term?

The Lost Gods is the best expansion released by Ubisoft for Immortals: Fenyx Rising. It features the same type of dad joke humor prevalent in the main game and A New God while utilizing the open-world and the addition of new characters and locations that set the Myths of Eastern Realm apart from the rest of the game. There are certain problems and shortcomings, but altogether the DLC provides a lot of fun.

9 / 10.0 - Dandy Ace
Apr 26, 2021

I found the game to be well worth the $20 price tag given its polished story with voice acting and extreme replay value but you don't have to take my word for it; you can find a free demo on the Steam page and give it a go for yourself. You won't be sorry.

7 / 10.0 - Black Legend
Apr 21, 2021

With its 17th Century setting, large 17th Century-era class selection, and an alchemy-based combat system, Black Legend stands apart from other turn-based RPGs. It looks and plays distinctly different enough from other games in its genre on the Switch to merit some attention. Its steep learning curve and the long battles, however, might turn away those with little patience.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising - Myths of the Eastern Realm marks the return of the game back to the more open-world adventuring as opposed to the instanced puzzle-solving of A New God. However, the DLC does not manage to differentiate itself enough to stand tall. While visually stunning and delving into the rarely touched Chinese mythology, Myths of the Eastern Realm, the expansion feels much more subdued and even a bit unsure at times, especially when it comes to humor.
