It Takes Two is without a doubt one of the best platformers I have played in recent years. The level design is incredible and the many ideas regarding the cooperative elements are second to none. It offers a decent length and the fact that it never gets boring in the process only speaks for the game, making it great value for money and especially worthwhile with the free "Friend Pass" option for the co-player.

Final Fantasy XVI offers epicness in its story, massively fun action in its battles, and a magnificently crafted world with an enormous amount of variety and seriousness. If you're looking for a gritty role-playing game of the highest order and you own a PS5, this is a must-have.

Shadow Warrior 2 legt genau an den richtigen Stellen nochmals einen drauf und überrascht mit neuen RPG-Elementen und einer soliden Performance am PC. Die Geschichte kommt durch die neuen Co-Op und RPG Features leider etwas kurz, dafür könnt ihr den Titel jetzt auch mit bis zu 3 Freunden genießen und mit um einiges mehr an Langzeitmotivation in ein New Game+ starten.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is just as good as Uncharted 4 maybe even better besides the smaller playtime of 6-8 hours. It even manages to kill nearly all the shortcomings of the main game. Some of the fight Scenes are not as well made as in Uncharted 4 and the constant Selfie-Action of Chloe feels misplaced but if you look past that you'll get a full Uncharted Experience that leaves little to be desired.

Forza Motorsport 7 is the most beautiful and accessible racing game on the market. The new weather conditions bring some fresh improvements in terms of variety and driving experience and the Forza's Drivers Cup is the most satisfying single player experience the series had in years. The only shortcomings are a small lack of realism and the unnecessary integration of Loot Crates/Microtransactions.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a solid sequel with small technical issues that not only builds on the great foundation that The New Order created but improves on it with an even better story and gameplay adjustments. Fans of Singleplayer-Shooters have to get this game.

Bayonetta 1+2 are also on the Switch essential games for every gamer and Nintendo Switch Owner. Despite some minor setbacks when it comes to playing the game on a 4K TV, both Parts will make you enjoy your time coming back to the series and hype even a skeptic for Bayonetta 3.

Dead Cells plays like a best-of series from many groundbreaking ideas of the last decades: artwork and gameplay are brilliant, controls are flawless, the motivation curve is surprisingly steep and all the components are so good well mixed together that you are going to forget time. id Software beweist mit bravour wie man einen Oldschool nach 2016 verfrachtet. Die Kampagne liefert nach einem holprigen Start ein Feuerwerk an Action, Gore und Dämonen und auch der Multiplayer und Snapmap sind absolut gelungen und bieten im Gesamtpaket einen der besten Shooter der letzten Jahre. Von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung sowohl an Oldschool Doom Fans als auch Neueinsteiger in die Serie. Gerade die vielen Schwierigkeitsgrade und Oldschool-Mechaniken, werden einige Shooter Fans an ihre Grenzen bringen.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is definitely offers the best from both worlds with a touch of XCOM. Tactical veterans will miss some challenge in most of the game but besides that the game is probably the best entry into the world of tactical RPGs. Also Super Mario and Ubisoft Fans will enjoy the amount of easter eggs and secrets hidden in the game.

The Outer Worlds marks Obsidians departue from the Fallout franchise, but continues to deliver top Action RPG quality. Even if it's a bit too easygoing on the player, the title pulls all out all the stops: lush scifi settings, tight gameplay and dialouges rich with satire. The guys from Obsidian are masters of their craft and really don't necessarily need a postapocalyptic wasteland to succeed

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is probably the most beautiful Xbox One exclusive game so far and offers, thanks to a lot of well made gameplay adjustments a lot of new ways for players to experience and explore this amazing emotional adventure. Even when the NPCs of the world don't really make a big impact and the game suffered from some bugs and loading issues before Day One, every Xbox One/PC owner should definitely get this game.

With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ubisoft ventures into something incredible: Taking the Odyssey formula and reinvent it completely. Players will face a realistic and brutal world with a serious story behind it. Protagonist Eivor and the game world are thoughtfully build with a lot of love for details. An amazing experience that is presentable.

Bluepoint delivers here, just like with Shadow of the Colossus an amazing work of art and shows again how a good remake of such a game has to look like. Demon's Souls is the new display what next-gen should look and feel like and was even optimized gameplay wise at the right parts. If you can live with everything the original was about and even some new challenges, you'll experience the PS5s game of the year.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is imposing, takes itself seriously and is simply fun. The story stands on its own and is therefore also very suitable for newcomers. The characters grow on you and are surprisingly realistic. There are tons of activities and completionists will again have over 100 hours to look forward to. Everyone else will enjoy what might be the best role-playing game for the Switch this year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 ist überraschend gut geworden und liefert den aktuell besten Multiplayer Titel des Jahres. Die Kampagne leidet zwar etwas unter die Integration des Koop-Modus und auch die diversen Connection Errors im Singleplayer hätten nicht unbedingt sein müssen, aber dafür bekommt ihr eine zusätzliche Zombie Kampagne, den beliebten Zombie Modus mit einer eigenen Geschichte und den wohl interessantesten Call of Duty Multiplayer Modus seit Modern Warfare 2. Rise of the Tomb Raider knüpft an den erfolgreichen Reboot der Serie an und liefert endlich genau das, was Fans der Serie bisher beim Reboot vermisst haben. Fans von großen Gebieten zum erkunden inklusive fordernden Klettereinlagen und Rätseln, werden mit Rise of the Tomb Raider ihren Spaß haben. Die etwas schwache KI und die fehlende Herausforderung im Action-Bereich mindern zwar wieder etwas das Gesamtbild, aber der Titel bietet einige Schwierigkeitsgrade, die dann zumindest etwas mehr Herausforderung bietet für die Action Fans unter euch. Von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung. Falls euch der Vorgänger gefallen hat, bekommt ihr hier ein quasi Tomb Raider 2.0, mit einer Verbesserung in fast allen Bereichen.
