80 / 100 - Control: AWE
Sep 4, 2020

The AWE DLC for Control is a great little piece of content that ties into the Alan Wake mythos. If you enjoyed Control and want more, be sure to pick it up.

The future of Marvel's Avengers ongoing success will be completely dependent on the quality and regularity of content. However, as a game available today, it's a solid entry into the loot and shoot RPG space. The single player story is worth the price of admission alone, leaving the fun but dated approach to multiplayer a welcome addition for fans of the looter style approach.

70 / 100 - Wasteland 3
Aug 31, 2020

The single-player in Wasteland 3 runs fine, but the co-op is currently a hot mess. If you plan to play co-op, wait for a few more patches before picking it up.

70 / 100 - Windbound
Aug 27, 2020

Windbound's visual appeal is sure to lure in players expecting an entirely different experience. That said, I grew to love a game that I initially couldn't stand. It's beautiful, charming, captivating, and completely brutal without apology. One of my favorite games of the year so far.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered can only be recommended to the most die-hard of Final Fantasy fans, and only if they play in its single player mode. Those looking to play multiplayer with friends are going to be sorely disappointed.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition is a good game marred by technical problems on the PlayStation 4. As it stands, it is difficult to recommend to anyone in its current state.

The quirky humor and text-based gameplay of Space Bear won't appeal to everyone, but those looking for something out of the ordinary will have a bear-y good time with this one.

A Total War Saga: Troy is a good addition to the franchise, but is not recommended for new players. However, fans of the historical setting Total War games shouldn't hesitate to check this one out.

Missile Command: Recharged still has the underpinnings of the Atari classic holding everything together, but the upgrade system is a double-edged sword that has the potential to break the game. Though this is not a dealbreaker, this change unfortunately trades skill for grinding.

Much like a goofy game show, the zany antics of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will appeal to gamers of all types. Though the first season has some nasty bugs and Show duds, those that bring some patience into this battle royale will enjoy their race to the top.

20 / 100 - Bikerz
Aug 3, 2020

Bikerz manages to do the unthinkable by turning a seemingly exciting concept into something that is an absolute slog. This title suffers greatly from repetition, and players will be bored of its antics well before all is said and done.

Fairy Tail is a return to form for the classic turn-based RPG combat of yesteryear. A huge cast of memorable characters, tons of side content, and incredible combat all come together to form one of this year's most impressive JRPGs.

55 / 100 - Hellpoint
Jul 29, 2020

Hellpoint might have been a decent Souls clone if it didn't suffer from so many technical problems. A few more months in the oven would have done it wonders, but it is an easy skip in its current state.

If you have not played the original Destroy All Humans, and the mindless destruction of the human race is appealing to you, the 2020 remaster is a must-play. While some of the gameplay fundamentals show their age, the fantastic dialogue and voice-over work, especially with Crypto and Orthopox, is entertaining, funny, and top-quality throughout.
