GamePro's Reviews
Borderlands 4 returns to its old strengths and once again offers fantastic action with significantly more story depth than its predecessor. Only the open world is a bit weak.

However, not every idea is equally well implemented—the monster fusion system certainly has room for improvement—and the presentation was clearly lacking in budget. Overall, however, these are minor criticisms in an otherwise very good horror game that will keep many of you entertained for a good 20 hours.

The development team did a wonderful job of creating an environment that somehow always invites exploration. I also found Remi and Tania to be fascinating characters – and I really liked the ending, even though it came a bit too quickly for me.

After the last few Farm Sims I played failed to keep me interested (including Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life), Grand Bazaar once again completely captivated me from the start. This is due to the cute look and the numerous cutscenes, but also the extremely motivating farmer's market twist.

Anyone familiar with the genre and a fan of action-packed side-scrollers/Metroidvanias should definitely check this one out. If you're still unsure, feel free to check out the demo available on all platforms.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a fantastic game that thoroughly entertained me for almost 15 hours during my test. However, I also knew what I was getting into and have a weakness for PlayStation 2 games and Hideo Kojima's sometimes wacky storylines.

I would have liked to see Hanger 13 venture more into the story. For a game that places so much emphasis on the story, I expect a bit more variety – which I got with the knife as a new gameplay element.

All in all, Tales of the Shire would still be a recommendation for Hobbit fans and anyone who wants to relax in a harmonious world while playing. However, the current technology suggests that we should at least wait for a few more patches. Perhaps they'll also bring some additional content.

But Nintendo's hit rate is extraordinarily high, and when I look back on the Switch 2 era one day, Bananza will definitely be one of those extraordinary titles that I look back on with butterflies in my stomach.

In fact, we enjoyed Eriksholm so much that we wish the game had one or two more chapters. Alternatively, we would have appreciated some optional additional challenges, perhaps through a higher difficulty level. So, in terms of scope, the title doesn't have much to offer.

Death Stranding 2 is the almost perfect sequel for anyone who enjoyed Sam's first post-apocalyptic adventure

If you're into games like the new Zelda games and/or Animal Crossing, I highly recommend you take a look at The Time Thief.

When everything's running smoothly in the team, we excel at an event, level up significantly, or a strategy works, it's really fun.

Thanks to numerous customizable parameters such as game speed, damage values, and the size of the parry window, everyone can create their own unique challenge. Add to that the numerous UI, graphics, audio, and accessibility settings (see box above), making The Dark Ages the most accessible Doom game to date—and a true showcase shooter in this area.

Clair Obscure is a very pretty game, but the title on consoles doesn't reach the graphical opulence of the trailers and especially in the world the game seems a bit dated here and there, which is particularly noticeable in some areas.

Overall, we had a good time with South of Midnight, as the game gives us plenty of options to customize the experience to our needs, such as simply skipping the battles we don't like. If you have a Game Pass subscription, you can also check it out for yourself without obligation, as the title will be available there right from release.

The First Berserker: Khazan turns out to be a very good and motivating Soulslike in the test, but sometimes overdoes it in terms of difficulty.

Atomfall is definitely not a game for the masses; it feels too rough and "weedy" in places. But with its overall style, it also has something that I think many games today lack: character. And for that reason alone, it's worth a look.

Fans of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla can have a lot of fun in feudal Japan, and stealth enthusiasts will also get their money's worth thanks to Naoe. Either way, Shadows is a coherent overall package and thus a very worthy Japanese spin-off.

Split Fiction doesn't reinvent the co-op formula and is similar to its spiritual predecessor in terms of its structure and some of its magical moments. While the wild genre changes almost four years ago gave us one "WTF" moment after another, the element of surprise is now more often missing.
