Lifeslide is a contemplative experience that does not forget to offer a simplistic but engaging gameplay, which requires you to master its mechanics.

Hyper complete, both in the management and in the exploration of type STR 4X, and even in the RPG of survival, the developer tried to think of everything and it is successful. Maybe a little too complete besides for players who do not like to think too much when they play. But for others, it's pure happiness. If you enjoy the medieval, stop playing Valheim, play Going Medieval. It's not necessarily prettier but it's much more addictive.

Disgaea 6 is a very good vintage for lovers of fun and completely offbeat tactical RPGs. Fans of the license will be delighted and will find here an excellent sequel, particularly funny. Excessive statistics, wacky remarks, funny situations and strategic fights, everything is there.

Scarlet Nexus is a successful first draft thanks to its story, its characters, and its unusual bestiary. The other great quality lies in the solid and exhilarating combat system, whether through the movements of your heroine (or hero) or with the combination of the powers of your allies.

In reality, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a good title, an excellent even since the recipe has absolutely not changed since 2006 (go, 2012 if we take into account Final Showdown). With a focus on online and competitive, Sega sees in the long term and the potential is huge. Except that here, technically, although it has received a polish stroke, the app does not hold the road in front of the competition.

Chivalry 2 fulfills its function with brio, it is a fun game, delirious and pleasant to browse. The feeling of participating in real medieval jousts has never been so well transcribed and this is all the more true when you share the experience with friends.

Guilty Gear Strive takes a dry turn for the series and opens up to as many people as possible, or almost.

If the goal of Team Ninja is to introduce the Ninja Gaiden franchise to those who could not play it in the 2000s, it is missed. This Master Collection is a lazy port that is content with the bare minimum.

In short, it is the total absence of fun that jumps in our faces. The huge shortcomings of the title, which we had already noted during the preview in early May, have not been corrected, making Open Country an ersatz of hunting simulation game from the beginning of the Xbox One/PS4 era, with an interest totally broken by an aesthetic and technical envelope to pick up.

Edge of Eternity is an ode to JRPG, an app that transpire love and passion for the genre. A simple story, which quickly takes on Dantesque proportions where the fate of the world depends only on a handful of heroes who are everything but heroes.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a formidable standard-bearer for the PlayStation 5 and an episode not to be missed under any circumstances.

Castle Flipper had immediately posed as an explorer of the "Flipper" genre, with the promise of doing much more than a "medieval House Flipper". And it's partially held. The game offers a different approach to the craft of craftsman-decorator but retaining all the heaviness of this kind of game.

Solasta is a faithful adaptation of D&D, full of heart, which respects the rules to the letter and which gives a good feeling of paper role-playing. The result is an independent title with big ambitions but little budget and it is felt on all the elements.

Biomutant has a successful atmosphere and artistic direction. Even if the graphics are not always the level expected, especially monsters and NPCs, that light management is questionable and that there are still some bugs, the title offers an open world where freedom of movement is appreciable.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition offers you the opportunity to (re)dive into one of the most striking and solid sci-fi RPG sagas in the videogame landscape. Bioware has really worked on its copy to make it as accessible and enjoyable as possible, and it's successful. Mass effect 2 and 3 take advantage of the graphic smoothing and make the beautiful, but it is especially Mass Effect 1 that received the bulk of the bunch.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster remains a singular JRPG with very good qualities, such as an effective combat system and a real choice left to the player during the game. But you have to know what you're getting into: a difficult game, one that doesn't forgive error and seems to remain in its 2000s. We would have liked this remaster to be a little bolder in terms of technique and above all ergonomic. It may again divide, but we believe that there is still a piece of choice in this JRPG collection.

Interesting things and scenes, yes without a doubt, but this RE8 is too irregular to rise even to the level of RE7.

Hitchhiker is a fantastically written interactive story and nothing more. No real gameplay, no puzzles or true enigmas as promised, but a breathtaking journey, an astonish casting and contemplative panoramas. Mad About Pandas' game could have been a narrative gem if it avoided some clumsiness regarding its story, its direction and its interactions. An amazing odyssey that hits it mark, but that isn't for everyone.

Demanding, devilishly exhilarating with its dynamic gameplay, of unquestionable artistic beauty, Returnal is a beautiful showcase for the PS5 which needs more than ever to maintain a diverse catalog - with experiences large and small, more difficult as accessible - and the best Housemarque title.
