5.8 / 10.0 - World to the West
May 5, 2017

World to the West is the perfect example of how you can have all the good intensions in the world, but sometimes the execution is just bad. There are some nice ideas here and there, but too many bad design choices almost destroy everything good the game has to offer.

The Franz Kafka Videogame is an exquisite recipe that combines books, videogames and a great art direction, and the overall result is pretty unique. Unfortunately the puzzles, albeit well-thought, require not always clear and require a good knowledge of the author. The gameplay is best suited for a mobile experience, anyway.

7 / 10.0 - The Silver Case
May 3, 2017

The Silver Case is a difficult game to review: the first work of Suda51 still has an intriguing gameplay, but there's no denying that time took its toll. Anyway, if you love Suda51, and you love graphic novels, it's really a no-brainer.

8.5 / 10.0 - Puyo Puyo Tetris
May 1, 2017

The perfect mix between two great puzzle games, much more enjoyable in multiplayer than in single player.

6.2 / 10.0 - Syberia 3
Apr 25, 2017

Despite being a technical disaster, the first hours of Syberia 3 are promising. Unfortunately, the game quickly gets too nostalgic, without finding the courage to complete the renovation process we all expected. A real missed opportunity.

There's a lot to be played and a lot of fun to be had here, if you loved the first chapter of the series. Unfortunately, despite some improvements, you'll find the same limitations as well.

Wonder Boy: Dragon’s Trap is a really short experience, but an amazing one. This is, hands down, the most genuine and touching tribute to one of the greatest classics. Play it, love it.

9.5 / 10.0 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Apr 23, 2017

This is undoubtedly the biggest, funniest and best Mario Kart ever. If you already have the new Nintendo console, well, it's a no-brainer, really. If you don't, well, it could be the right time to Switch.

8.6 / 10.0 - Outlast II
Apr 23, 2017

Everything, in Outlast II, is better than the previous chapter: the story is more deep and articulate, the levels are bigger, the enemies smarter... Well, most of all, it's even scarier. Strap in, it will be one hell of a ride.

8.7 / 10.0 - Cities: Skylines
Apr 20, 2017

Finally, Xbox One players have the chance to enjoy one of the finest city builders released last year. The conversion is excellent, and almost indistinguishable from the PC version. The After Dark expansion is included in the game, but the two DLCs (Snowfall and Natural Disasters) are not.

Behind the creepy mood and the awesome graphics, Little Nightmares has very little (pun intended) to say, gameplay-wise. Too simple, with some basic platforming and uninspired stealth sections.

The multiplayer offering is quite limited, but other than that Dawn of War III is a pretty solid RTS, with a challenging campaign and a well-balanced combat system. A must have for the fans of the series.

The first episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy pretty much contains everything a fan of the movie could ever desire. The graphics engine desperately needs a revamp, though.

This is one of the sloppiest porting ever made, full of bugs, crashes and framerate drops. This is especially unfortunate, because LEGO City Undercover is probably the funniest LEGO title ever made by TT Games. Our suggestion? Wait for a solid patch, a price drop or a sale.

9 / 10.0 - Bayonetta
Apr 11, 2017

The witches are back, and they're tougher and sexier than ever! Bayonetta is the most iconic title developed by PlatinumGames, something that every gamer (PC gamers too, finally!) should have in their collection.

8.7 / 10.0 - MLB 17: The Show
Apr 11, 2017

A must-have for every baseball fan out there, MLB The Show 17 improves everything over the previous chapter, delivering a game that's beautiful to see, but even more beautiful to play, especially the new storyline mode.

6.2 / 10.0 - Blackwood Crossing
Apr 10, 2017

This new walking simulator tries so hard to be another Gone Home, but it suffers from a stiff gameplay, and an overly sentimental story.

7.5 / 10.0 - Rogue Stormers
Apr 9, 2017

Rogue Stormers is a decent, hectic shooter with a good co-op mode and a gameplay full of explosions and chaos. Unfortunately, it could have dared a little bit more: the bestiary is pretty lackluster, and the sense of progression is very, very slow, insanely tied to the number of enemies killed.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is the last of a long list of collections of the main titles of the series. If you're a long time fan, you'll find it completely worthless. If you never played any of them, though, and you're looking to catch up before the release of Kingdom Hearts III, this could be your lifeline.

6.8 / 10.0 - Future Unfolding
Apr 5, 2017

You can love Future Unfolding, or you can hate it. If you like to explore game design and experience something truly unique, you could definitely love it. Unfortunately, the intriguing concept gets often trapped in a rigid gameplay, and that's where hate comes in. When it works, Future Unfolding is a real pleasure to watch and play.
