Wonder Boy: Dragon’s Trap is a really short experience, but an amazing one. This is, hands down, the most genuine and touching tribute to one of the greatest classics. Play it, love it.

There's a lot to be played and a lot of fun to be had here, if you loved the first chapter of the series. Unfortunately, despite some improvements, you'll find the same limitations as well.

6.2 / 10.0 - Syberia 3
Apr 25, 2017

Despite being a technical disaster, the first hours of Syberia 3 are promising. Unfortunately, the game quickly gets too nostalgic, without finding the courage to complete the renovation process we all expected. A real missed opportunity.

8.5 / 10.0 - Puyo Puyo Tetris
May 1, 2017

The perfect mix between two great puzzle games, much more enjoyable in multiplayer than in single player.

7 / 10.0 - The Silver Case
May 3, 2017

The Silver Case is a difficult game to review: the first work of Suda51 still has an intriguing gameplay, but there's no denying that time took its toll. Anyway, if you love Suda51, and you love graphic novels, it's really a no-brainer.

The Franz Kafka Videogame is an exquisite recipe that combines books, videogames and a great art direction, and the overall result is pretty unique. Unfortunately the puzzles, albeit well-thought, require not always clear and require a good knowledge of the author. The gameplay is best suited for a mobile experience, anyway.

5.8 / 10.0 - World to the West
May 5, 2017

World to the West is the perfect example of how you can have all the good intensions in the world, but sometimes the execution is just bad. There are some nice ideas here and there, but too many bad design choices almost destroy everything good the game has to offer.

9.2 / 10.0 - Prey
May 7, 2017

Prey is a great interactive artwork, comprised of a huge, non-linear adventure where the player is truly king, a deep and inspired sci-fi story. Probably the best title ever produced by Arkane Studios, and certainly a must-have for every gamer.

A game that talks about death, but in doing so it becomes an unforgettable love song to life. Giant Sparrow raises the bar for "walking simulators", thanks to an amazing story told through compelling gameplay ideas and some real, deep environmental storytelling.

6 / 10.0 - NBA Playgrounds
May 11, 2017

An excellent idea, a not so excellent execution. A great filler for a play night with friends, but its charm rapidly fades, mostly because of some prominent balancing issues.

8.6 / 10.0 - LocoRoco Remastered
May 14, 2017

Eleven years have passed, but LocoRoco is still wonderful to look and enjoyable to play. The level design is top-notch, and the art direction is truly beautiful. It could've been a perfect game, were it for some minor flaws in the control system.

Fire Emble Echoes is the perfect fit for long-time fans, who will appreciate the second Famicom title of the series, never previoulsy released in the West. At the same time, newcomers won't find a better game to start one of the greatest turn-based tactical series.

8 / 10.0 - Bounty Train
May 15, 2017

Bounty Train is an incredibly complex title, with almost endless possibilities for the player, but at the same time it's accessible and fun, albeit a little bit repetitive.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Surge
May 15, 2017

The Surge is not Dark Souls little brother, nor it wants to be. It's definitely a souls-like, but with its own personality, some nice level design ideas, and a storyline that won't disappoint you.

8.3 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
May 16, 2017

Bigger, faster, stronger, the second chapter in the beat'em up series of the DC Universe improves the original in every possible way, with a great single player mode, a very rich customisation system, and some nice online features, for competitive and casual players alike.

Apparently, the masterpiece of Quentin Tarantino is bound to NOT have a decent tie-in. The biggest crime in Reservoir Dogs are not the heists, but its being a bad game.

Mass Transit is an excellent expansion, with just one problem: the content isn't that much. Everything else improves over the original, adding depth to an already rich gameplay. And the support for Steam Workshop is just the cherry on top.

8 / 10.0 - Portal Knights
May 17, 2017

Portal Knights is the perfect opportunity if you're willing to get close to the universe of Minecraft & C., or if you're looking for something a little bit more complex than mere resource gathering and building. The RPG component is pretty thin, but deep enough to offer different approaches to the game. Thumbs up.

7.9 / 10.0 - Farpoint
May 18, 2017

Farpoint makes you truly feel like a badass space marine, like no other game before. It's a pretty short experience, the gameplay is pretty basic and the bundle with the Aim Controller it's not cheap. But it's one hell of a ride.

Birthdays the Beginning could be the love child of Minecraft and Spore, evolution merged with sandbox in its purest form. It's an interesting idea, at least in theory, but you're gonna need a lot of patience and dedication to fully appreciate it.
