7.5 / 10.0 - Shadow Labyrinth
Jul 17, 2025

Shadow Labyrinth takes Pac-Man in some strange places, but often too poorly designed to really enjoy the brilliant idea behind an anyway good metroidvania.

8.7 / 10.0 - The Drifter
Jul 17, 2025

The puzzles are logical, never distracting, often contained within single screens in an escape room style. Excellent voice acting and a cynical narrator complete an experience that demonstrates that adventures can still have a lot to offer, when crafted by skilled hands.

An action-platformer with a high-rate of destruction and fun. Donkey Kong Bananza succeeds in not making us miss a true 3D Mario on the Switch 2. It can easily be considered one of the best exponents of the genre since Odyssey and sits proudly next to Galaxy in terms of variety, eccentricity, originality and fun.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition is a respectful and functional remaster of the RPG originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The visuals and overall performance have been improved, though the aesthetics remain dated. Modern accessibility options are lacking, and companion AI still shows its limitations. Nevertheless, most of the content – especially Mask of the Betrayer – shines for its narrative depth. It's a faithful remaster that aims to preserve the original's magic, and largely succeeds in doing so.

8.2 / 10.0 - PEAK
Jul 8, 2025

PEAK is as good as the group of friends you will play it with. It provides you an excellent platform for a co-op experience with potential of many hilarious moment. The rogulike nature of it may drive some people away though.

An adventure-platformer that seems to come straight out of the 64bit golden-age.The original "swap system" succeeds in raising the gameplay above average and in bringing to life some truly unique and entertaining puzzle elements. The overflowing "richness" of some levels makes orientation more difficult than it should be and some performance issues would require a technical update from the development team.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a great remake. While it plays on nostalgia, the collection also takes advantage of all the skills you can practice during your gaming sessions. The camera issues still persist.

7.8 / 10.0 - Len's Island
Jul 4, 2025

Len's Island is a distinctive mix of survival, ARPG and dungeon crawler. It makes you feel like an explorer grappling with a world that can't wait to be discovered. There are some flaws such as a technical sector that could be improved, but as a start to the adventure it's not bad.

8.3 / 10.0 - Broken Arrow
Jul 3, 2025

Broken Arrow is a solid RTS that can provide good fun to anyone who's willing to spend a bit of time studying its systems, but the lack of campaign saves and an occasionally unclear UI are definitely areas where there should be improvements.

7.2 / 10.0 - Gex Trilogy
Jul 3, 2025

Gex Trilogy reintroduces the three original chapters of the famous 90s platformer, with accurate emulation and some modern features such as quick saves, rewind, trophies, widescreen support and CRT filter. The first episode, in 2D, is notable for its wall and ceiling walking mechanics, while the two sequels in 3D chase the Super Mario 64 model, losing some of the originality. The constant, dated humor may be repetitive, but the collection remains a solid product for nostalgists and completists, enhanced by extra content such as concept art or interviews with the developers.

The touch of modernity offered by fifty trophies to unlock and a co-op multiplayer mode that supports cross play is excellent . All things considered, System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster has aged more than well , even if certain wrinkles cannot be hidden .

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach improves on all the gameplay of the first episode and offers breathtaking views, it's a shame for a story that loses a bit of intensity in the central part.

8.5 / 10.0 - Rematch
Jun 23, 2025

Rematch is a new and fresh page in the Football (Soccer, for US readers) Video Game History. Slocap has to add some of the lacking feature, especially cross-platform multiplayer, but the game is really challenging and it can become a massive hit.

Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 is the tangible explanation of why indie is beautiful, as well as being the confirmation that Toby Fox knows how to reinvent the 2D RPG with intelligence and irony like no other. A simply unmissable work, if you consider yourself a gamer.

Lies of P: Overture is a valid addition to the base game, in particular because it doesn't just add new gameplay (enemies, bosses, weapons, Legion arms) but also some very powerful story moments. Wholeheartedly recommended.

5 / 10.0 - MindsEye
Jun 19, 2025

MindsEye intrigues with its cyber-noir atmospheres but stumbles on many, too many of its promises. Everywhere you look while walking through Redrock City, you see an ambitious action game that shoots for the stars but ends up crashing to the ground.

6 / 10.0 - FBC: Firebreak
Jun 18, 2025

FBC: Firebreak is a cooperative spin-off that seems intriguing on paper but unfortunately lacks substantial content. With only five missions-rather simplistic ones at that-unremarkable classes, a limited variety of enemies, and uninspired weapons, the investment of time and money may not be justified. On top of that, the artificially slow progression system is reminiscent of the worst live-service practices. It might have some appeal if played with a close-knit group of friends, but engagement risks being short-lived.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is the perfect example of how a minor classic should be brought back to life: without distorting its identity, but updating it with intelligence, respect and a healthy dose of courage.
