By successfully combining different elements of classic games, Infernax doesn't suffer from issues that come with nostalgia and only use this nostalgic theme to its advantage and nothing more. That being said, lack of any new or innovative gameplay mechanic or Feature prevents infernax from becoming one of the best indie games of all time. at the end of the day, Infernax is a beautiful game with clever usage of RPG elements and a standard level design that could entertain you for hours.

High on Life shows why not all games are supposed to be GOTY material. Sometimes we play game for pure entertainment purposes and nothing more. that being said, it shouldn't be used to excuse game's technical problems or its ample issues. High on Life delivers an entertaining experience, but filled with technical problems and other shortcomings that can't be ignored.

Need For Speed Unbound shows that NFS series is on the right track. that being said, poor AI and lack of variety in content is noticable. If you're looking for exciting street races with nostalgic feeling, NFS Unbound is a must play game for you.

The Callisto Protocol is what happens when Developers don't fully utilize thier game's potentiality. poor story, disappointing character development, ample Level Design issues like the excessive Encounters and enemies has held the game back considerably. That being said, I enjoyed my experience in Callisto nonetheless. if you're a die hard fan of linear Survival Horror games, you will have a blast playing The Callisto Protocol.

Evil West is one of those linear games we used to play and love years ago. gameplay is fun and enjoyable and almost everything works properly. that being said, some level design issues like enemy numbers in encounters, low enemy variety or lack of depth in exploration are noticable.

God of War Ragnarok is what happens when developers actually care about fans criticism, and try their best to make some amends. in GOW: Ragnarok, gameplay has seen some important improvements; exploration and in general gameplay progress is faster, searching environment for loot is more optimal and backtracking is less annoying and variety is on another level. That being said, the core of the game remains intact. a great journey filled with epic cinematics, ample QTEs and lots of blockbuster elements. On the other hand, pacing issue is serious and over the shoulder camera make fights in the second half of game unmanageable because they are too crowded. If you liked God of War 2018, you're going to love God of War Ragnarok, but if you prefer a game that never let you put controler down then it might not be for you.

Sonic Frontiers has done an excellent job of showcasing Sonic's franchise potential in form of an open World game. some Ideas haven't been implemented correctly, but we can be hopeful next games in the franchise would utilize Sonic Potential to its fullest
