God of War: Ragnarok is a highly polished and incredibly produced but predictable entry into the series. A worthy continuation of the reboot, this is another must-play Sony title that continues to define the development style of first party studios.

Resident Evil Village invites players back into the fray with a new protagonist to follow. As Rose you will have different way to combat enemies and a ton of puzzles to solve. The expansion is described to be around 4 hours long but you can easily spend more in order to be more thorough and it will also depend on the difficulty mode you play. If you're a fan of the main title, this will give you another fun ride while revisiting some familiar places as well as more character options for the arcade styled Mercenaries Additional Orders. Ideally for those who want to extend their Village experience and see the finale of the Winters' tale.

Gwent: Rogue Mage is a strategy card game, which does not stray too far from Gwent. However, it manages to maintain its own identity as a Roguelite with challenging combat encounters and a progression system that encourages you to take risks to build powerful decks. If you are searching for a title to scratch the itch Slay the Spire has left behind, then Gwent: Rogue Mage is probably the game you are looking for!

MH Rise Sunbreak is a worthy expansion adding new monsters, locales, questing options and gameplay mechanics worth 50+ hours of gameplay even for casual players. Fully recommended for anyone who enjoyed the base game, and a great deal for anyone buying the game with expansion.

The expansion holds roughly 30 plus hours of content, not only providing a solid main quest line but also plenty of side quests, Volcanic Vents, new enemies, and card collectible fun along the way. Exploration is enjoyable as the region is split into different isles which can be travelled to by the boat ports. If you enjoy mystery, political intrigue and diving into dark crypts, this one is for you.

8.8 / 10.0 - Salt and Sacrifice
May 9, 2022

Salt and Sacrifice is a passion project that seamlessly merges aspects of much larger games and delivers a focused and unique experience. Humbly priced, its addictive gameplay and multiplayer aspects will leave you feeling like you got a great bargain and asking for more.

Neocore's rendition of the Arthurian tale is dark and gritty, and isn't for the feint of heart. It's tough, it's challenging, it doesn't hold your hand, but damnit if victory doesn't feel oh so sweet! Without a doubt, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a day one buy for anyone who enjoys strategic, tactical combat that goes far beyond the decisions you make on the battlefield.

If you enjoy making critical choices, controlling the fate of the party by engaging in their respective side missions, solving puzzles, finding secrets as an alternative to outright combat, and exploring the other side of Kenabres as an ordinary citizen, then I highly recommend purchasing the Through the Ashes DLC. It’s a unique and unforgettable experience in the Pathfinder space as you get to focus more on the game’s storyline!

Unscored - Seven Knights 2
Mar 25, 2022

Even if you are a full-time PC gamer, you can still fit Seven Knights 2 into your schedule and even enjoy it on PC. While waiting for a raid party to form in your favourite MMORPG, you can pull out your mobile and do some quick dungeons in Seven Knights 2. Or upgrade your team for PvP. It doesn’t demand a lot of your time like other MMOs and doesn’t handhold you entirely either. So you can play at your own pace. It doesn’t require any money spent either, so it’s another good free-to-play game to pick up if you rather not spend real money on microtransactions, although it does have this option.

Stranger of Paradise was a game that many of us were unsure of when it was initially revealed in E3 2021. 9.5 / 10.0 - Elden Ring
Feb 23, 2022

Elden Ring is FromSoftware's Magnum Opus, and it's hard to imagine them making a better game. The only negatives are performance related, which can by and large be overlooked. Elden Ring delivers on a scale that few games ever have, and likely ever will again. A day one buy for RPG and open world fans. Don't miss out on this once in a decade experience!

Horizon: Forbidden West is a gorgeous and highly polished experience that takes full advantage of the Playstation 5's superior hardware. And while a dream come true for explorers, the sub-par story just prevents it from being a true masterpiece. Recommended for fans of the genre.

Expeditions: Rome is a fun and challenging RPG that requires closer attention. It brings back fond memories of the impactful choices made back in the days of classic RPGs like Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment. Moreover, the developers have made turn-based combat cohesively nuanced and challenging at the same time. With over 65 hours of content, Expeditions: Rome is worth getting into.

Death's Gambit is a game where developer passion shines through. The free expansion, Afterlife, revamps the game with excellent additions and provides a decent amount of content for the base game's asking price. While not the best Metroidvania you'll ever play, it's one that should certainly have a place on your list.

Tales of Arise combines a stunning world told with a mix of anime, cutscenes and comic strip styled conversations. The combat is fun, flashy with customisable skills in hack 'n' slash style. While the combat can feel a little unnatural with the auto-targeting and airborne moves, once you get used to it, there are some fun fights ahead. If you don't like having to choose between ranged, casting, melee in games, you won't have to worry as Tales of Arise let's you swap in different characters as you wish, keeping combat fresh. With over 40 hours of main story, side quests and exploring , this Tales entry has plenty in terms of content.
