One of the better entries in the Assassin's Creed series.
While 1-2 Switch is overpriced, it is a brilliant party game in a suitable setting. If you have the right social circle to play it with, you should go for it. Consider waiting for it to become cheaper or to be bundled with something else though.
FF15 is a great game that takes the franchise into a new direction. If you enjoy exploration, the imaginative stories of JRPGs and real time combat, this game is for you.
Project X Zone 2 is a fun crossover game that takes itself very lightly and should appeal to anyone interested in turn based strategy games.
Event[0] is an interesting game that implements text-based interactions in a beautiful and modern environment with fantastic visuals.
Nier: Automata is a great game but has quite some flaws, which may put off action- and gameplay-oriented players. Anyone looking for an experience focused on the story and thought-provoking elements will greatly appreciate the game as it shows some absolute brilliance there.
Enter the Gungeon is a very solid Bullet Hell-Roguelite. While it does relatively little new things in terms of gameplay, it combines traditional features in a fresh matter and underlines them with its own unique and quirky charm.
While Gravity Rush 2 could have improved much more compared to the first game of the series, it successfully expands on the formula by adding a lot more content. It is a great deal for any fan that just wants more of the original.
"Gears of War 4" is one of the best cover shooter experiences around and provides an interesting story with gorgeous visuals. The elements of this game really show off the strength of Triple-A titles.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a good game, but fails at living up to the expectations set by its predecessor The Stick of Truth. Unfortunately, the gameplay was padded so much with filler that it killed the pacing. In Ubisoft's desire to make a Triple-A blockbuster, they instead weakened something that could've been a Double-A masterpiece.
The port of Human Fall Flat to the Nintendo Switch is ok but far from great. The game is definitely a worthwhile play if you like phyics-based puzzles, but maybe pick it up on a light discount.
World to the West lets you explore a cell-shaded world that feels alive. It is filled with great observational puzzles and features a great atmosphere with a nice ambient soundtrack. The combat could have been better implemented, but if you like a relaxed and laid back experience, this game may just peak your interest.
While still decent, the expansion to Breath of the Wild doesn't hit the same tune that the base game did.
While we will probably remember other games released around this time more, we can recommend people to play through it once, possibly during summer when you have a good couple of hours to kill and the game has gone on sale.
