Langrisser I & II is a welcomed modernization of a forgotten classic from the 16-bits era. With a great story and route tree system, and a fun and challenging combat, even in its simplicity, everything results in an awesome SRPG that should please fans of the genre.

One Punch Man: Hero Nobody Knows triumphs in creating a battle dynamic that accommodates the particularities of its great protagonist and works very well for those already initiated in this universe. Beyond that, it is a game similar to so many other famous anime adaptations, with an extremely simplified combat system and a single class C look.

Despite the high price tag, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate brings a good amount of content with great additions to a game that was already pretty good by itself, being even more recommended for newcomers.

Azur Lane: Crosswave is a game with some good ideas and it manages to execute them decently well, but stumbles on various other points that limit way too much how well it entertains the player.

Maitetsu: Pure Station brings the tranquility of a rural japanese city, the strength of its people, the tragedy that shaped its protagonist and the railway premise of the old trying to survive in the modern world, all in a single package.

Despite the remaster by itself having a few problems and being just reasonable, it doesn't take away from how incredible and impressive the games in this collection are, allowing players who just recently had contact with the series to play some of its best games.

Bookbound Brigade brings some very interesting innovations to the already traditional metroidvania style, especially in the setting and design of a protagonist ensemble and not a lone hero. It has a very competent level design, but it fails in what could stand out the most: the combat system and the change of formation, leaving an almost contradictory feeling where the fun, from time to time, gives way to frustration.

100 / 100 - Dreams
Feb 20, 2020

There are no words that can accurately define my feelings towards Dreams. It's a title that has transcended everything we know as a game, becoming something completely new. Media Molecule exceeded all possible expectations by creating this wonderful tool, that if used correctly, will serve as one of the main pivots for content creators, game-design students, musicians, animators and many others throughout this decade. Dreams may be one of the last "games" to be released for PlayStation 4, but it will forever be immortalized as one of the greatest titles ever made in history.

If you've never played it before, Under Night In-Birth, [cl-r] is the best version to be bought of an excellent 2D fighting game. The free update is aimed at long-time fans with a new balance and new attacks. The new characters are a great addition to the roster and recommended to those that like agile characters. If you have already tried previous versions of the game, this next update doesn't bring anything new that will change any opinion.

Vanquish remains practically untouched and its excellent quality is still shown here as a fantastic action game. Unfortunately, the game's transition to the current generation is below expectations.

Darksiders Genesis is a great (and necessary) isometric hack 'n slash action game and manages, even though it is considered an spinoff, to keep all the essence of the franchise, while taking it to new and promising paths.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition basically offers a complete (so far) SFV package. Unlike the Arcade Edition version that brought Arcade mode and other new features, Champion Edition doesn't bring any new features. Therefore, it is a suitable package for those who wish to have everything at the lowest possible price.

Based on an important IP, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a competent game that doesn't do anything too good or too bad, but it'll hardly conquer anyone besides the most passionate about the series.

Compile Heart and Idea Factory's games usually stand out somehow while having other weaker aspects. Arc of Alchemist is probably their most well-balanced title in terms of quality. Unfortunately, what stands out here is the lack of quality.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is an incredible collection of three great games that were somewhat forgotten on the PS3 and now arrive for a new (and bigger) audience that finally can appreciate its incredible charm, beautiful narrative, fantastic art direction and, specially, charismatic and memorable characters.

The Kingdom Hearts III DLC, Re:Mind does not deliver everything that the fans expected, being something sort of a "director's cut" of the original game with little new content, without answering the questions that everyone wanted. For what we received, the value of the DLC is very expensive and should be at least half the price, not making up for those who are not fans of the franchise. Still, Re:Mind is fun and adds incredible new fights that increase the desire to play post-game.

The psychological terror of Tokyo Dark: Remembrance bothers and forces accurate decisions regarding levels of sanity and professionalism, making the game interesting and worrying, as the protagonist suffers throughout the entire story. The soundtrack is abundant, making the suspense atmosphere more evident, and the animations are clean. In the end, the game is a good option to buy.
