YIIK has an interesting story and an exceptional concept, that could've worked better if the game was idealized as a visual novel. Unfortunately, as an RPG, it doesn't work so weel since it ends up losing itself in an attempt to innovate the mechanics of the classic titles from which it draws inspiration.

Verdict: The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is a game that should have come before to the West. It passes a simple but very catchy message, and makes an easy gameplay, without the snapping pressure. The curiosity to discover the outcome of the tale was the greater motivation, to understand how two people so different, who made mistakes, can approach and fix the imperfections.

85 / 100 - Song of Memories
Feb 8, 2019

Even though it fails to successfully integrate rhythm-game mechanics into its gameplay to diversify it, Song of Memories is an amazing visual novel with an emotional and deeply touching story, coming very close to reaching the genre's highest echelons.

Kingdom Hearts III offers a visual spectacle, an epic journey and a worthy conclusion to patient fans. Old-fashioned elements of the franchise that already feel dated, such as camera problems and an unbalanced pace in story, are still present. However, there is much to enjoy here, with great gameplay, some of the best Disney worlds to date and a lot of epic moments. Kingdom Hearts III may not be a perfect game, but it's a worthwhile journey for those who waited so long.

Senran Kagura Re:Newal is a great starting point for those who wish to know how the series and its story began, while also acting as an excellent preview of what we can expect in Senran Kagura 7.

Genesis Alpha One has an interesting idea but it ends up failing on not using them in the right way. Simple graphics, not so gripping story and weak gameplay make the game even more boring. Even the exploration, that should be one of the highlights of the game, isn't enough to catch the player's attention and will to play. Genesis Alpha One is not the best choice to start exploring the games in 2019.

Ace Combat 7 stands out, mainly, due to its amazing campaign and gameplay. This was my first contact with the series and AC7 became one of my favorite games for the PS4 and the biggest reason why I will accompany the series in the future.

25 / 100 - Nippon Marathon
Jan 29, 2019

Nippon Marathon is impressive, but in the wrong way. Somehow, it manages to fail in every aspect, with absolutely nothing in it that could be considered a quality.

For Honor usual players are the main target of the Marching Fire expansion, that adds a considerable amount of content, highlighting the new Arcade and Invasion modes. The DLC fails to create a more appealing game to new players, not covering a larger or more casual audience. The game economy may have become a bit more aggressive, but still acceptable within the expansion proposals.

98 / 100 - Resident Evil 2
Jan 22, 2019

Resident Evil 2 is an excellent game. The Survival Horror that fans wanted so much is here, the technical aspect is impressive and the various campaigns (even if they have very similar elements) increase the lifespan considerably. Although the remake is not exactly identical to the original, the essence of the 1998 game remains present. Resident Evil 2 is a must-have title in your collection.

Few are the mainstream games that embrace this universe so rich and mysterious in equal proportion. It's worth giving a chance to this longing title and ensure some good hours of fun and also even train your English given the lack of translation.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition brings back the fun and immersion that you've seen before in 2008. With a lot of extra content, the title is a must-have in the collection of any fan.

68 / 100 - Vane
Jan 16, 2019

Vane is a different game. It does not present an interesting story, but it ends up delivering a unique experience of seeing the world from above through the view of a crow. Even though it has some serious technical problems and gets the player lost in some moments, Vane manages to make the player have some fun while solving some puzzles and trying to understand what happens to that world.

The Council – Episode 5: Checkmate serves as an excellent last episode for the Louis de Richett's story. Although the narrative of this episode is interesting, the technical problems linger throughout the whole story and here it would not be any different. The Council is that game which deserves to be played more than once due to its different endings based on your choices through the episodes.

If you're not looking for something more complex, Atelier Totori can make your weekend a little happier. However, the story, gameplay and mechanics in general, are a little boring and repetitive.

The Pillar features an interesting tomb with beautiful graphics. However, the plot is weak and the lack of an online co-op is noteworthy.

There are few positive aspects one can take from Jagged Alliance: Rage and the few that the game offers are obliterated by its critical performance issues, making it a game most players should avoid.

London Detective Mysteria is cruel, vile and repulsive with the way it builds its romances at the cost of the protagonist's physical and moral integrity. It's hard to believe that the protagonist doesn't end the game extremely traumatized and is able to live her happy ending with whoever it is.

Silver Lining is a great conclusion for this series of DLCs that have been somewhat disappointing. It is a more diverse DLC, presenting interesting situations that make you want to play it. The downsides are the ending, as it seems it had its development rushed, and again its length.

70 / 100 - Hover
Dec 31, 2018

Despite having several problems in its plot, design and performance, it is impossible not to have fun with Hover, either alone or with friends through the online mode. The game had potential to be much better, but this can be solved with a possible sequel. Still, Hover is definitely a title that will entertain fans of the Jet Set Radio series that until today expect a new game of the franchise.
