90 / 100 - Omno
Aug 5, 2021

Very gently, Omno is a great dreamy journey through a peaceful and enchanting world. With an open narrative, simplified gameplay and artistic beauty, it is a cohesive and simple work, and even if it's short, it turns out to be unforgettable.

30 / 100 - Ion Driver
Aug 4, 2021

Ion Driver shows potential in its mechanics that could be achieved through good production work, but in its current state the title doesn't even meet the minimum requirements to be considered as a commercial product due to its complete lack of content.

65 / 100 - The Falconeer
Aug 2, 2021

Fun combat doesn't save The Falconeer: Warrior Edition from being a mediocre game. Problems with mission design and lack of exploration of its world create a game that only promises and fails to reach its potential.

80 / 100 - Cris Tales
Jul 31, 2021

Cris Tales has a level of repetition that can annoy players a bit, but the story is intense and the amount of twists makes you extremely attached to everything and curious about what comes next. Furthermore, the graphics, as well as the battles and the adventure itself, match perfectly, making the journey of Crisbell and her friends a good option for lovers of the genre.

Frostpunk's Season Pass raises the bar and demonstrates how additional content should be. With interesting new narratives and the addition of relevant mechanics to the gaming experience, the expansion proves essential for any fan of the game.

70 / 100 - Night Book
Jul 29, 2021

Night Book is a great example of an FMV game and makes the player believe he is actually watching a movie. Despite delivering everything it sets out to do, the simple and sometimes predictable story leaves a little to be desired and anyone who is not used to this style will probably get bored. Even so, it's far from a bad title.

85 / 100 - Orcs Must Die! 3
Jul 28, 2021

Orcs Must Die! 3 is excellent and delivers exactly what was expected. Even though it uses a lot of what was in Unchained and doesn't bring much impactful innovation, showing even a great reuse of previous material, the game manages to deliver some good stuff, with enough fun and challenge to spare.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a good collection of two games in the series that visit the distant past of an ancestor of Phoenix Wright. That said, many parallels to the original games are created – which can be seen as a good or bad thing depending on your point of view. Regardless, the cases themselves remain intriguing and entertaining. The only problem is that they are 3DS remasters and, consequently, the graphics aren't so good.

NEO: The World Ends With You can be described as a sequel that respects and surpasses the original in many ways. The new title simplifies and improves some aspects coming from its predecessor, but it also brings new systems and expands them incredibly to create its own identity. This is not a title I recommend only for those who loved the original, but also for any RPG fan due to the quality present in each of its aspects. I consider NEO to be one of the essential RPGs in the PS4 library and I can only hope that we'll see more titles from this excellent series soon.

Whether you're a fan of the series or a newbie to musou, Samurai Warriors 5 is the best game in the sub-franchise so far. The beautiful graphics further elevate the intense and fun action that the series always delivers, and all the changes made contribute to a top-notch package.

Indigo 7 Quest for Love is a game that takes up a well-known style in the mobile sector by proposing the joining of hexagons in the best Tetris Puyo Puyo style through a fun plot and stereotyped characters. The well-known formula of joining colors and shapes to perform scoring combos is a slightly worn proposal that doesn't shine on a console and delivers a fun experience at first, but not impactful on the game as a whole.

Mixing different genres and mechanics, ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights is perhaps one of the lesser-known, albeit one of the best Metroidvania titles released in the last ten years. From start to finish, with very few caveats, the game excels in everything it does.

The Mr. X Nightmare DLC has amazing additions that enhance the overall package. The three new playable characters are unique and fun, and the Survival mode is awesome as well. It just doesn't get a maximum score because completing the main campaign (again) with the three characters as if they were "simple skins" is not the same thing as a campaign that could have been designed exclusively for them.

Batbarian: Testament of the Primordials is everything you'd expect from a good metroidvania and has a rich world to explore, great text and beautiful audiovisual compositions. If some aspects of the gameplay seem to need a little more polishing, the overall experience is challenging and thought-provoking, and a warrior's relationship with a bat, if it once seemed unlikely, now makes perfect sense.

80 / 100 - Cannon Brawl
Jul 20, 2021

Surprisingly fun, accessible, intuitive and addictive, Cannon Brawl brings polished gameplay, good visuals and enough modes to please those who already know and like real-time strategy games, and even for novices who have always been looking for a good entry into this world.

Necromunda: Hired Gun is a game that goes far from doing justice to the setting, having serious problems in its gameplay and a narrative that does not hold the player at any time. Add to that a vast amount of technical problems and it's a game to be avoided.

Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed is a fun and even impressive title considering its origins, but one that needed more of a remake than a remaster.

Where The Heart Leads offers a plot as simple as captivating, with an intimate scale, lots of dialogue and some very significant choices to be made by the player. With an intriguing artistic style and greatly simplified mechanics, it should please those interested in interactive narrative experiences, but those looking for action and a far-fetched gameplay should steer clear of this game.

Minute of Islands is a title with an excellent premise accompanied by a strong visual appeal, but that delivers a gameplay shallow and not as interesting as the story it proposes to tell.

75 / 100 - Graveyard Keeper
Jul 13, 2021

Graveyard Keeper is visually well resolved and brings one of the best soundtracks in the genre. Its story flirts with moral aspects like few games dare, and its mission and progression system has its uninspired moments, but it's enough to get us involved and convince us to move on to the next grave.
