Death Squared is a very fun cooperative puzzle game that rewards cooperation but inspires players to mess around with each other. It might not be your main current game, but it fills an important gap in a game collection
he Devil In Me delivers an intriguing and chilling story, with a great cast of characters and some really top notch acting. The excellently crafted environments and perfect sound design really set the mood for this atmospheric horror. When you start to unravel this story it will have you hooked
When starting out you may have thought Land of the Vikings was a Banished Clone, it’s not at all. Yes it shares some resemblances including (and mentioned in the Video) the music, the game itself isn’t.
It starts off slow but within minutes you are trapped and the game really pulls you in on so many levels. Even having to start again when you died didn’t feel frustrating. It was just another opportunity to correct your path or not take a certain turn
n my opinion, Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories is perfect for children age 6 and up as it is not fast paced. It does require some patience however everything you do is quite childly simple.
PlatinumGames’ Hideke Kamiya said before release that it would be better to play the first and second game before playing this one. He’s right—of course. If I hadn’t been writing this review very early on I’d have turned the game off and ordered its predecessors, so that I could enjoy the game to its maximum
Overall, the storytelling might be a little opaque, but Signalis is executed with such hellish confidence and features so much fun and tense gameplay, that it squeezes itself into the very top slot
Pentiment isn’t going to be to everyone’s taste and will divide its audience. Some will love it and some will hate it. No doubt some will sit somewhere in the middle.
I think that the concept of Flat Eye is good, but it has been presented poorly. I think the political agenda has taken over and the overall execution is poor. It’s like they drew the plans for a great sculpture and then tried to make it with a sledgehammer.
In Inertial Drift, you don’t need to know the difference between a crankshaft and a camshaft! Getting into that perfect racing line and being able to weave in and out of traffic without getting a time penalty is of no use. I cannot understate just how much I enjoy playing Inertial Drift: Twilight Rivals Edition.
I really enjoyed my time playing Broken Pieces. It’s an engaging sci-fi adventure game with an intriguing story. The pacing of Elise exploring Saint Exil as well as the time loop element was great, especially the alarm clock reminding me of Groundhog Day. Some of the objectives did feel like filler but with fresh game mechanics such as weather, managing daytime and more as part of puzzles the game kept my attention.
The Chant is a great Journey and a massive step away from the usual style of survival horror. With an everyday character who doesn’t wield axes or guns to take down enemies. The puzzles within the game have you searching for keys or items to combine to open doors
Let’s Build a Zoo takes me back to the days of Zoo Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and Theme Park. Of course, this game has its own stance in the “tycoon” world of games.
Shatter Remastered Deluxe is the epitome of pure, unadulterated arcade gameplay. It’s easy to pick up, quickly addictive and the catchy soundtrack really enhances the experience. It’s the Wipeout of brick breakers.
Live By The Sword: Tactics has a lot going on in terms of variety of modes, but I fear that it falls short in a couple of areas, the most important being advancement
One True Hero offers up at first glance a simplistic and basic action adventure, but as you scratch beneath the surface you find a detailed and challenging 3D platformer full of interesting interactions, puzzles, and challenges.
While this wouldn’t be my type of game, I can see how it can become very addictive. The art is great, there’s a story to keep you engaged and the First Person Shooting is brilliantly executed. It sounds, looks and feels great to play. It’s good fun.
A well-thought-out FMV experience is available to a broad spectrum of gamers regardless of your chosen format. Currently priced at £11.99 on the PlayStation store, it is definitely worth checking out. Let me know in the comments section below what you thought of The Gallery and whether are you a fan of this FMV experience. Personally, I enjoyed it more than I expected but there were a few things that I almost wish that I had not noticed. Not a game for everyone’s tastes as there are some sensitive topics. It is for this reason that The Gallery gets the coveted Thumb Culture Gold Award
Thank you to Infinity Ward and Activision for delivering this stunning masterpiece, and long may it continue now we are moving onto 2 year cycles of Call of Duty games!
I had a great time playing Gotham Knights and yes it has its issues but overall it’s a solid addition to the superhero genre. The story is a bit by the numbers and relied a lot on combat but the character portrayal and heart of the game shown more than made for that in my opinion.
