A truly fantastic beat 'em up that's been brought back from the dead, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is utterly sublime.
A lack of focus, vague combat, and some truly befuddling performance issues hamper the still competent, and often enjoyable, detective sim that the best parts of Cyberpunk 2077 want to be.
Although Football Manager 21 isn't as in-depth on Xbox Series X as it is on PC, it manages to provide a fun and engaging management simulator that has been sorely missing from consoles for some time.
While the sound design is gripping, the platforming is solid, and the puzzle solving is unique, Unto The End unfortunately suffers from a bloated combat system and harsh checkpoints. This tough-as-nails trial and error gameplay loop ultimately cheapens all of its best qualities.
After three years of development, Act 2 is just fine. Hopefully the next instalment is stronger and will come earlier than 2023, but we'll have to wait and see.

Though the foundation is laid for a great game with excellent presentation, style, and robust gameplay systems, the horrid user interface and vast number of bugs and glitches keep Empire of Sin from being a great game.
The Falconeer is an impressive game and a joy for the senses. Though not without its flaws, you won't be disappointed - it'll grab you by the talons and take you for quite the ride.

Though conceptually simple and highly repetitive, ICBM is a neat and compact strategy game with solid design foundations and excellent multiplayer potential.
With that said, Melody of Memories is still somewhat enjoyable and the IP it represents is doing the game a lot of favors. Fans will be able to sink several hours into it and I think it is better played in short bursts anyway. I’ll definitely fire the game up again for that couch co-op — even though both parties have to be at the same difficulty level — or to play against my wife or AI to see more of the mechanic that lets the player throw extra hurdles and tricks at their opponent. It isn’t the best game in the rhythm genre (that’s Gitaroo Man), but Melody of Memories is going to entertain a lot of people, make a ton of money, and get fans playing through the whole series again.
The Pathless is a fantastic game full of rewarding exploration and moment-to-moment gameplay that gets right at the heart of what makes open world games fun.
There's a new hero taking up the name Spider-Man with his own style and a brand new set of problems, but Miles Morales' adventure is just as amazing.
An interesting game that makes mashing together different songs almost effortless, Fuser lacks a gameplay hook to keep you coming back.

Kosmokrats' Soviets-in-space setting and the story hit some good notes, but it's all let down by the gameplay. I really wish I could recommend the game, but this is one to avoid as it stands, comrades.
