Whether you want to race against the AI, do some challenges, take-on a friend in split-screen, spend hours getting the perfect shot in the photo mode, drive around the tracks in VR, participate in a season or race your mates online, GT Sport has you covered. If you have even a tiny bit of interest in racing or racing games, GT Sport is the only game you'll need this year. It's brilliant.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole really is an impressive game. Offensive and in your face, but impressive none the less.
A real labour of love the developers have put a lot of heart and soul into this project, and while viewing the behind the scenes content it’s clear that the entire team are a tight nit bunch of friends who really enjoyed making this game.
If you are a fan of Gundam or giant robot action in general, Gundam Versus will keep you entertained for a while
Like most Telltale titles, Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two: Episode One gets off to a fairly slow start. There’s enough of a hook to keep you wanting more though. It’s also perfect for returning and new players alike. Something strange is going on in Beacontown
This remake is more than a straight port and it’s more than a standard remake. It’s a pretty big overhaul of an already very well put together game.
This is the Destiny formula perfected. It’s a vast improvement over the original game
RUINER is well worth the money spent and the time played. It's a solid game with an interesting story and mechanics and not too many negatives.
Fans of Dishonored should pick this up as it wraps up the Kaldwin saga, but mostly because it’s yet another refinement of an already excellent game.
There’s a fantastic game in there, but you have to be willing to dig past its flaws to really appreciate it.
NBA 2K18 is fresh in the places it needs to be. Which is a really positive sign for future 2K titles.
If you’re a fan of anime then Mask of Truth may very well be exactly what you need after a long day at work. Just be prepared for a lot of reading and a lot of fan service.
It’s far from perfect, but Knack II is an improvement in every way on Knack. It’s like all your favourite Saturday morning cartoons came to life and you get to be the star.
Metroid: Samus Returns is the best 3DS game this year, hands-down. It’s the best Metroid game in almost a decade and it’s definitely the best way to spend your commute of a morning or evening.
It’s easily the best golf game you’ll play this year and is a simply a delight.
Overall I think Absolver is very decent. It reminds me a little of the good old days of Double Dragon on Atari.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is an idea that has paid off big time. It’s a game that a lesser company would have avoided, but both Nintendo and Ubisoft have taken a risk and I’m frankly glad they did.
I had a lot of fun playing Matterfall. The gameplay is enjoyable and the levels are challenging.
Miitopia definitely has its charms and it’s a perfectly designed game for commuting. It’s not something you can sit down and play for hours on end though.
LawBreakers is easily one of the most enjoyable twitch shooters I’ve played in a long time.
