f you’ve played it on other platforms, you may not be ready to play through it all again. But if it’s been a few years then you might be ready to have another go. If you are, playing on the Switch gives you the benefit of the best control scheme and portability.
Overall, the game looks, sounds, and plays better and there’s just more to do. Experienced players will see a number of quality of life changes as well.
Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is by no means a bad game, it's just a little misguided in its execution. There's just a bit too much noise for the best bits if the game to truly stand out.
It stands on its own as an excellent addition to the genre while also bringing flavours of its own.
By and large, WarioWare Gold is a great collection of microgames with some funny moments and an oddly charismatic Wario. It’s certainly much better than Game & Wario
If you’re a Switch owner and an RPG or tabletop fan, there is absolutely no reason for you to not own Hand of Fate 2. It’s a truly exceptional title that shines even brighter on Nintendo’s console.
All in all, Doughlings is a nice little classic game to play. It’s a good throwback to older games while still being fun for gamers today.
Sushi Striker is a decent puzzle game with an odd and somewhat charming theme. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking for something quick and easy to play on the move, this will definitely fit the bill.
City of the Shroud offers an ‘OK’ RPG experience wrapped around a fun and interesting combat system core.
Nier is an affecting game that entertains you but also makes you question your beliefs about who is the hero and the villain.
The ambition of Unavowed is immediately evident and the game rarely puts a foot wrong
Overcooked 2 is everything I wanted it to be, and a few issues notwithstanding, I’m very glad I came back for seconds.
All this might seem like I’m pretty down on Sleep Tight. But in the end, it feels like a game that’s hot out of the gate, but falls short after the first lap. It’s all style, but gets weighed down by some technical issues and a lack of variety.
The Banner Saga 3 is the culmination of years of work and provides an absolutely perfect ending to one of the most brilliant gaming trilogies of all time.
Its simple yet stylish art and popping soundtrack still work so well. This is definitely a collection worth owning.
If you are looking at grabbing the Sonic Mania Plus as DLC or picking up the full copy of the game it looks to be a brilliant addition for any Sonic fan.
I love Tempest. I love Tempest 2000. I even love TxK on the PS Vita. And if I’m wearing my Tempest fan hat and badge, I love Tempest 4000.
INSIDE is an absolutely incredible achievement in art, design and storytelling and comes highly recommended for any Switch ower’s library
Octopath Traveler presents itself as a simplistic title thanks to the 16-bit HD visuals, but it's anything but. It's a deep, complex RPG, with multiple intertwining systems and a huge world to explore.
For a re-release Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is a pretty good pick. The short nature of the levels and touch controls make it perfect for Switch, especially when playing on the go.
